Bethany's POV
When I first saw Demilia or Devil, I was so scared of her. I mean she was wearing a leather jack t for gods sakes. Call me scaredy cat but I get frightened really quick so don't judge.
When Devil introduced me to the guy, Blake, I saw a hint of evil in her eyes. She knew what she was doing!
I started talking to Blake and he is quite nice actually and by that I mean to many corny jokes, but he can be serious about some stuff.
I was so glad when Devil invited me to talk with her friends because in my old school I didn't have many of them. I was sitting with Devil and her 2 best friends, Tanya and Alice. They actually treat me like a normal human being, unlike the students in my previous school.
The only person I can think for the rest of the day was about Blake.
Every time we made eye contact he would give me a charming smile, my heart flutters and every time we our hands brush I feel tingles on my skin that I cannot control.
I may be starting to like Blake. Maybe he likes me back?!
Pfffft what are you talking bout Beth? Nobody is gonna like you.
Maybe Blake does like me, you never know.
No, he doesn't, you are a nerd, he is a bad boy. You don't mix.
My thoughts were interrupted by Blake and some other boys. I smiled. How I wished to kiss him and hug him, but I can't. I had to somehow stop these feelings and move to someone who can return the same feelings as I have.
"What can I do for ya Blakie?" Devil said smirking.
Blake looked at her and rolled his eyes.
"I wasn't here to see you Devil," he turned to me and his face softened and he smiled. "I am here to talk to Bethany."
Devil, still smirking continued talking," Soo.... you and Bethany are..... friends?"Is she trying to get herself killed?! It was like she wasn't scared of him at all. She talked to him with no care of the world. I wish I was like her. She was amazing. I know I just met her, but she told me that she can paint, draw, sing and dance. She had dark brown hair, shiny eyes and amazing skin. She can get any guy she wanted, even Blake. She also knew how to fight and said she was training Blake and the guys. But whenever I asked her why she would always change the topic.
If Devil is hiding something I would give her some time. Plus we just met yesterday so I wouldn't blame her.
Demi's POV
"Come on you losers! Today is our first day of training! Now I need you all to warm up. I need to get somethings."
Right now I am at my house in my basement which is actually really big. Don't say it, don't say it-

I bet the boys are gonna be like 'coooooolll' when I show them that they will be fighting with swords, but the swords that I use are so freakin heavy. It is like 1,000kg or something. JK.
But it is still really heavy.
I keep a box of swords in my house, because I like to practice sometimes. I just hope the boys know what they are doing.
Well.... in just a day Bethany and Blake have gotten pretty close. They better become relationship goals soon, or else I swear I will feed Blake to the dragons in Meridian. Kidding. Meridian dragons are long extinct. Or that is what I have heard.
I carried the box down to the basement when I saw Carter doing a split. WAIT WHAT!? Since when did Carter know how to do a split. But it's Carter. Expect anything and everything from him.
"Ok everyone, take on of the swords, and do not swing it unless you wanna die."
"This is soooo awesome. We will learn in no time. Don't worry, Devil, we are pros at this stuff," Crater said excitedly with a boastful look. I told you.
"Uh-huh." I said, unconvinced. They have no idea.
Jason walked up to the box and took one sword out with its sheath.
"Geez, what is this made out of?! Iron!?" Jason said, trying to hold the sword properly. Key word 'trying'.
"Yes actually, and I told you guys this wouldn't be easy." I took one sword out which was my favourite because..... I don't know, I just like it.
"How the hell do you do this?" Ryder asked while wheezing. Blake was holding the sword with ease. Guess he was more determined then I though he was.
I walked over to Blake and told him the starting poistion. When we started, he was awful but after a few hours, he wasn't that bad. The rest of the boys were still pretty bad. Jason can barely hold the sword, Carter keeps swinging it, Alex was kept on saying he couldn't do and Ryder gave up long before.
"Blake, why would you want to go to Meridian with me? I mean there is a chance you can die you know." I siad packing everything. He seems so pumped to go to Meridian.
"It is a one in a life time opportunity, you really think I am gonna miss it? I wanna be a princess toooo." He siad with pouted lips as I chuckled and shake my head with amusement. Is Blake and Carter related? Or did they have a personality switch?
Jason started wheezing, and said, "How long are we gonna do this?"
"At least a month, minimum." I said as I started gojng up to my room.
Blake went to the bathroom to change, when his phone that was on the couch in the living room started ringing. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was Bethany. I smirked. I walked to the bathroom which Blake was in, knocked on the door and said, "Hey Blake, I think Bethany is calling you on your phone."
Once I said that he quickly unlocked the door and rushed to the living room. The boys looked at him weird.
He picked up his phone, before saying, "Shoot. I missed the call."
The boys looked at me, smirked, then turned to Blake who had one eyebrow up.
"You like her," I said, as I took out a packet of chips.
Blake's eyes widen and shaked his head many times.
"No, I don't! She is a nerd. I don't do nerds. It is just a stupid crush. I will get over it." He said as he started watching tv. Me and the boys just shaked our head in disappointment.
