The Teller part two

I sit in my chair, reading what is now a tattered, old, vintage copy of The Sword of Summer. I marvel at the fact that it has been aeons since it was written. I have always loved mythology and mysteries, ever since I was little. Hence my dad getting me into Doctor Who, and me being caught up in this whole situation. I wonder what would've happened if I didn't watch it. I probably would have survived the Teller, but I wouldn't have known what to do. I would've been so much more scared than I am now. Anyway, I am still in the Private Vault of the Bank of Karabraxos. She is still sitting in her "office chair" at her desk. My legs are crossed on a swirly chair on the right side of the vault. The clones and staff of the bank have been kind to me while I am here. They bring me food when Karabraxos gets her meals, and fresh clothes since I've been here almost a week. It's quiet most of the time, apart from when the staff report to her or we have conversations. It's no surprise that the food smells and tastes amazing, she is the most wealthy woman in the universe. The vault itself is always clean and fresh-smelling. I close the book and run my hand over the cover.
PING! The clone is about to report.
"Madame, there are intruders in the bank. We are sending a few guards to capture them."
I look up.
"Why?" Karabraxos asks.
"Well there are four of them mam, and they have locked themselves in a room. We are picking up life signs of non-humanoid form." The clone answers.
I smile.
"They're coming." I whisper.
"Very well. Report when you catch them." Karabraxos replies.
"Yes Madame." The clone says.
Karabraxos lifts her finger off the button on her communication device.
"This hardly ever happens. Maybe I'll finally be rid of you." She says.
"Perhaps. But you can never be sure." I reply.
My eyes drift to the only belongings I have here, my pjs. Then back to the book which I hold in my hands. Once again, I open it and read. I intend to finish it before I leave.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 hour later...
I read the last line in the Sword of Summer. I let it sink in. Suddenly, the door is opened to reveal two people. One male, and one female.
The Doctor and Clara Oswald.
"Just on time." I say.
They walk in and turn their heads to me.
"What? Who are you? You're not Karabraxos." The Doctor says, with his Scottish accent.
"I should certainly think not. I will explain all later, but first turn your attention to the women sitting at the desk." I reply.
They look at her chair.
"Madame Karabraxos." The Doctor says.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the bank is blown up, the gang is back home, and the creatures are free, the Doctor turns to me.
I am sitting in one of the chairs in the control room of the TARDIS.
The Doctor had just closed the door and walked to across from where I am sitting. He stared at me.
"What?" I ask.
"You weren't surprised to see the tardis. It's bigger on the inside, usually people are very bewildered at that." He answers.
"Maybe I'm just very clever." I say.
"You weren't surprised to see me, either. It's almost like you expected me." He continues.
"I did expect you. I was kidnapped, so to speak. You were my rescuer." I say.
"Start explaining." He says.
"I am Brooklyn Turner, human and resident of planet Earth. I am from an alternate universe and come from a time way before this." I reply.
"How do you know you are from another universe?" He asks.
"You aren't real, yet you are standing right in front of me. I am standing in a tardis, YOUR tardis. I am speaking with you, but that shouldn't be possible." I answer.
"So? Just because you don't see something, doesn't make it unreal." He says.
"The Earth has been invaded and protected many times. Even during my life time. I know sometimes we forget, but there's no way I would have forgotten that you, and other aliens; are real." I say.
"You'd be surprised. You humans and your funny little brains. So much going on in your life, your mind can't retain it." The Doctor explains.
"The question is, how did you get here?"
"That's just it! I don't know. I woke up this morning and there I was." I say.
"That's strange. That's only ever happened to me once before, and that was at Satellite Five. So it can't be that, unless someone has control of a wider beam and transported you there. But that's almost impossible."
"Almost?" I enquire.
"Well you had to get there somehow. And it's not like none of my enemies have upgraded their technology to make it harder for me to stop them."
I look at the ground next to him.
"When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable must be the truth."
I look up at him.
"Sorry, I'm a nerd."
"That's the second time that quote has been told to me while investigating a situation." He smiles.
I smile back. Then I keep talking.
"The fact still remains that I'm here. I am beyond my time, and far from home. Will you please take me back?"
He laughs.
"Usually people will demand I take them home. You're one of the only ones who have asked nicely. Of course I will take you home, I couldn't just leave you there."
I smile and get up.
"Thank you, Doctor." I say.
"No problem, one question though." He replies.
I wait.
"How do you know me?"
My smile drops.
"I-can't-"
"I am taking you home, but I need to know how you know." He says, sternly.
I take a deep breath.
"I can't tell you, Doctor." I reply.
"Why not?" He asks, raising his voice.
I smile a little sadly.
"Spoilers."
I walk away.
