Chapter 8

Its was late into the night and Mike was laying on the bed at a hotel in Las Vegas.

He looked up at the ceiling thinking about the situation they are in right now. Normally he would have a plane to get out of situations but this time it was no use. He was stuck.

Their was no way he could even get a kick strat with out having a lead.

Then he sat up quickly looking at the door. He stood up and smiled. He ran in the living room.

"Aye Chris?" he said and Chris looked at him.

"What?" Chris said as he sat on the sofa watching Tv.

"Where is her mom?" Mike said and Chris sat up. He stared at the Tv till it hit him. He jumped up and looked at Mike.

"Last i heard she went to Florida with her sister." He said and Mike smiled.

"Nigga we going to Florida?!" Mike smiled and Chris nodded.

"It feels like we getting close man i can feel it." Chris said and Mike nodded.

They went and got their things and made their journey to Florida.

Chris looked out the window and remember the first time he met Nicole's mom Sam.

It was late at night on the streets. Things were slow but fast at the same time.

Chris sat on the wall of the corner store outside waiting for his next customer.

He looked to his right and seen it was no one coming. Then he looked to his left. He seen a figure walk down the side walk.

He held his gun to his side ready for who ever it was. Soon he seen a older women with messed up clothes and hair everywhere. He loosened his grip a little cause he knew theae crack heads where crazy.

"Aye!.....Boy....U sell?" she asked. Chris looked at her eyes and seen she had to be over 30. He nodded and she smiled. She pulled out a 50. "What can i get for this." she said and Chria chuckled.

He pulled out the 50 dollar bag and gave it to her. Her eyes lit up like she won a million dollars.

"Thank you jesus!" she said and Chris looked at her.

"Shawty you gone for real." he said and started to walk away.
"Wait!" she said and caught up to him. "I got some friends at my house. I might need some more." she said and Chris looked at her.

"You gonna pay for some more?" he asked and she looked at him and shook her head. He gripped his gun.

"Let me pay you back." she said. Chris looked at her.

"Lady you got me fucked up if you think imma do some shit like that." Chris snapped on her.

"You acting like i want you to fuck me. Just give me some more please. I swear imma pay you back." Sh said and Chris looked at her.

"I remember yo face. You ass better pay me back." Chris said and gave her another $50 bag. She smiled and he looked at her. "I want my money in two days." he said and she nodded.

A month later he knew she kept her word about paying him back. But this time she messed up. He told her to pay him back friday and its monday.

He pulled up to her house and walked up. He knocked and ahe answered the door. When she seen it was him she tried to hurry and close it. He pushed it open and walked in.

"Where my money sam?" he said and ahe sat on the sofa.

"I don't have it. Just give me some more time." she said. Chris shook his head.

"I told you friday. I gave you two extra days. Where my money?!" he said. He grabbed a vase and threw it on the floor.

Sam dropped to her knees as Chris held a gun to her. "Please give me more time." she cried. He shook his head.

The he looked up to see a girl. He seen how cute she was but didn't show it. "Who You?" he asked and she stared at him.

"Nicole." she said and helped sam of the floor and to the sofa.

Chris couldn't believe she gabe up her own daughter to save her life. He thought it was suppose to be the other way around.

But he knew some people just don't care. But he cared. He cared alot about Nicole and her safety.

He knew that if he got Niocle back he was gonna treat her like the queen she is. Never would he make her mad lf yell at her.

He knew he had to treat her better that she has gotten over the yeara they have known each other.

Mike grabbed his phone and Call Sarah. She answered on the first ring. "Heyy babe." She said and he smiled.

"Heyy baby. What yall doing?" he asked and she sat down on the bed.

"We just got finished with dinner and i put the girls in the room so they can play till they wanna go to sleep." She said and Mike nodded.

"Ight. Well we might have a lead on ya girl." mike said and Sarah quickly sat up.

"Really for real?!" she asked hoping he says yes to her.

"Yea. We bout to go to Florida to see if she there with her mother." Mike said and Sarah sighed.

"God i hope ahe is and yall can bring her home." She said and flopped back down on the bed.

"I know Chris really miss her man."

"Of course he would. That is his wife. Wouldn't you miss me if i was taken?" she asked nowing he would probably kill everyone.

"You know i would kill to have you back in my arm baby." He said and she smiled.

"I would kill for you to baby." Sarah said Mike laughed.

"Baby you can't even kill a fly how you going to kill a person." Mike laughed and she fake laughed in the phone.

"Boy i can kill a damn fly so shut up." She said and Mike laughed again. "Stop laughing its not funny any more." she whined and and Mike laughed knowing she was pouting.

"Ok baby calm down ok. Just chill im sorry baby." He said and she sighed.

"Im getting sleepy bae." she said and he sighed.

"Ight got to sleep imma call you tomorrow ight."

"Yea ok. Good night."

"Goodnight." he said and she hung up.
