"Hey Kirlia!" My sister ran up to me.
"Ralts, you shouldn't be up and around just yet. Your still getting over that flu." I knelt done in front of her
"I know, but I just wanted to say that mommy wants you back before the sun passes the trees." She smiles.
"Well, thank you for telling me that. Go get back into bed. Don't want you getting more sick." I turn her around and lift her with Psychic.
"Kirlia! Come on! I can get back on my own!" She giggles.
"Maybe, but isn't this more fun?" I Start her on her way, bobbing and weaving through branches.
"Weeeeee!" She squealed.
"Ralts, get better, okay?" I said once she was out of earshot. My family was sort of odd, for instance, my mother, Gardevior, Didn't even know she would have offspring until she did, so even she doesn't know who our father is. Ralts might have it worst of us all. She gets sick very easily, and she does get sick, often. I go out and pick berries and talk to some of the other Pokemon in the forest. I do this every day while mother takes care of the house and Ralts. So, while we might not have the happiest of circumstances, we are happy. I stand up and walk to the Oran Bush when I hear a sound, like metal striking metal. I move towards the sound to find eight Pokemon all covered in blades dancing around. I move away and begin to pick Oran berries.
"Guys, did you hear that?" A gruff voice said from the clearing where the eight Pokemon were dancing.
"Yeah, sounds like a vine snapping." A nasally voice responded. I gulpped. They were talking about me.
"Its probably some kid picking berries. Lets get 'em." A third voice said. I scrambled into the bush, Red and black rushed past me. I waited until I was sure they were gone, I gathered up as much of the berries from the bush as I could, and left, I couldn't run or my berries would spill out of the small basket I had, so I used double team to send another version of me back towards the bush. once I reached the lodging, I took a deep breath.
"Your early." My mother said.
"There was a group of Pokemon I'd never seen before. They were red, black, with yellow eyes and blades all over their bodies. They heard me and tried to find me." I explained.
"Are you hurt?" She put her hand on my head.
"No, I'm fine, I'm just worried that things will be harder to do, they didn't seem like friendly folk." I responded.
"Ha ha, very funny, I'll have to talk to Mr. Scolipede later, can you go play with Ralts? I need to cook."
"Yeah, I'll play with her, it'll be a special treat, from me, getting to play with me for a long time, will you want me to go back later?"
"Tomorrow." With that I spun on my heel and walked to the piles of hay that served as our beds, Ralts was sitting on one, making some of the hay spin and shake. For such a frail girl she certainly had a lot of Psychic potential.
"Hey." I said, while sitting down next to her.
"Kirlia! Yay, yay!" it was odd, seeing all the hay flop back down, like a mad race to see which would fall fastest.
"Hi, so what do you want to play?"
"Guess Me!" She cheered, most people thought she meant guess, but it was a game were she and I would use double team, and we would have to figure out which one was real.
"Okay, okay. Me first?"
"Yeah! Yeah!" She clapped.
"Fine, I stood up. Mainly for dramatic effect I raised my hands and flung them down, using my psychic powers to create seven different me's. Ralts giggled and got up. She wondered over to one copy, but shook her head and walked back. One of our rules was that we couldn't stay perfectly still, so I brought one hand out out as if offering to help her up. The rest of my copies brought up their hands a second later. Next, I made all of my copies raise the other hand, and I brought mine up last.
" Awww, no fair! You can just tell them what to do and they do it! There's no way I'll guess now!" Ralts complained.
"Alright, what do you want to play?" I walked over to each clone and shook my hand through it, causing them to disappear.
"I don't know, maybe we play tag!" Ralts exclaimed.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but we really shouldn't go outside, not just because your sick, but there are people who want to find me. So we can't go out." I explained glumly.
"Charades then?" Ralts titled her head.
"Sounds good, but how will you see me?" I asked
"Oh, I can always see you, I just can't see through my eyes." Ralts said cheerfully.
"Huh, how does that work?"
"Mommy called 'astral protection'?" Ralts said
"Oh, astral projection. That's a good skill to have." I patted her on her head. "Anyway, who first?"
"Oh, meee! Meeee!" Ralts jumped, and ran to the space between our hay stacks. Then told me to sit down on mine. She started flapping her wings like a bird Pokemon, then acted like she was cold.
"Umm, Pidgey?" I guessed. She shook her head and acted like she was casting a powerful psychic attack, then acted like she was cold again.
"Ohhhh, Articuno!" I exclaimed. She nodded and ran to her haystack. I stood up and walked to where she was. I thought for a second and dropped onto all four of my limbs. I crawled to the wall and used my power to keep myself on the dirt wall while I moved up it. she guessed it immediately.
"Ariados!" She squealed. I levitated down onto my haystack. Before she could think of a charade, though, I heard a bloodcurdling scream.
"Ralts! Get out of here, find Mr. Scolipede! Its mom! I need to help her!" I commanded, she teleported out of the house and I ran to the kitchen, to find my mom on the ground, held at blade point by one of the things that tried to find me.
"What! you thought we wouldn't hear all that ruckus?"
