That was the radio. Love.fm. I doubt anyone actually listens to them.
I tuned out the radio as I see Earl came through the door.
"Tough day. I hate it."
I smirk. 'Hiding something Earl?'
"Why hate such a beautiful day Earl?" I say while stretching back, my hands on chair tops and I placed my feet on the chair opposite me. Quite naturally.
"Missing someone or did you enjoy last night too much you can't wait for to night?"
Earl, sitting next to the chair with my legs rested on the seat, spit his cappucino.
"Lein!"
"Atleast you got some action. I waited at the mark all day and got nada."
Earl resumed with his cappucino before he folded his arms on the table and leaned forward.
"D'ya think Cap's coulda gotten some lash for that?"
"Who knows." I looked out the window with feelings of nostalgia, still laid back.
"New mission. South Dakota." Was Earl's effort get my attention.
Finally I gave in. I knew he didnt like me looking forlorn and out of it.
Legs down, elbows on the table, I lean forward and said "Evelyn in or nah?"
Earl knew what I wanted.
"Nah. One girl show."
"Deal"
And thus we gone out the shop and continued with our journey.
