ONCE THE FOUR OF THEM arrived back into the institute, Alec immediately rushed Natalie to the infirmary even though of Natalie's protests.

The raven haired boy sat Natalie down on the bed as he rushed over to get a small first aid kit.

Alec sat down next to Natalie and picked up her arm carefully,

"Alright look at me, I'm gonna place some antibiotics on your arm, this might sting a little bit since it'll rush through your blood and veins," Alec said softly, staring into the girl in front of him.

"Okay," Natalie breathed out as Alec placed the antibiotics on her arm. Natalie winced as the wipe came in contact with the place that she fell onto.

Alec reacted quickly as he immediately pulled his hand away from the girl's arm,"Sorry," Alec said quickly as he looked intently at Natalie.

"Alec, it's fine." Natalie laughed softly as she looked at Alec as the boy nodded. Once Alec finished wiping the antibiotics on her arm, he grabbed one ice pack and placed it gently on her arm.

"What happened back there?" Alec asked softly.

"Well, when you went to check outside the loft. I was checking inside, went to the living room and a gun was held to my head and the guy behind it started to threaten Clary, Simon and I, then he started to- he um-" Natalie stuttered but Alec interrupted her.

"He started to what, Natalie?" Alec questioned with his eyebrows furrowed.

"He threatened to kill you." Natalie replied softly as she looked away from the boy as he took the ice pack away from her arm.

"Oh- Nat, it's fine- I probably would have done the same thing." Alec said as he pulled the girl into a quick hug as she immediately hugged back with her healed arm, digging her face into the crook of his neck.

Just when they pulled away, Izzy walked in and sat down on a chair right the opposite of Natalie.

"What happened while I was- well you know in the process of being kidnapped?" Natalie asked the two Lightwood siblings.

"The boys went insane, while Angel and I were just standing there, watching them." Izzy smirked as Alec looked away.

"Really?" Nat smirked back as she looked at Alec, who was currently looking at the wall.

"Yeah, Alec was so worried about you and Jace, oh my god. He was so worried about Clary. They were both frustrated and very angry." Izzy replied making Nat chuckle softly.

"Well, we're all fine now," Nat smiled as she nudged Alec softly as he rolled his eyes playfully.

"Are you sure?" Izzy asked with concern in her voice.

"Yeah, trust me, I've had worse than a fall. No worries." Natalie said with a shrug.

"How did it happen anyways?" Izzy asked, genuinely interested.

"Well, Theo, pushed me hard into a shopping cart, and you know-" Nat explained making Izzy nod.

"Well, I'm gonna go back to my room for a bit, gonna have a simple nap," Natalie breathed out as she stood up then left the infirmary after giving the two lightwood siblings a small wave.
