Man I can't believe that this is gonna start now! I've been waiting for this night for a long while! And of course the thing that's gonna happen at the end!!! As I think this I start smiling and staring into Imani's perfect eyes, hair and everything! I can't wait to tell her....
"Hey bab..... Imani.", I say almost slipping up, not until tonight...
"Yeh Tamara, what's up?", she says while turning to face me which makes me want to faint due to all of the emotions that flood into me when she looks at me.
"C..ca...ca...can you zip my dress...", I say while quickly turning around and showing her where the zip is and close my eyes in anticipation.
"Sure!", she says running to me in her slides and zips it up but I feel something else, she poked my butt with her finger and I got perked up and turned around smiling.
"Sorry..", she says smirking and then I tell her it's ok and go to my Bestfreind who is asleep on the couch.
I climb on the couch and put my hand on his chest grabbing his tux shaking him and screaming, "WAKE YOUR ASS UP BESTFRIEND!!!!!!!!", instantly waking up he grabs my face saying, "OK!", which makes me laugh and because he yelled I punched him in the chest.
"What was that for...", he says while rubbing his chest and making an frowny face.
"Cuz your ass shouldn't have yelled at me." I say smiling again.
"Fine god damn, that shit hurt..", he says while getting up and going to the dance floor crouching to catch his breath halfway there.
As he walks off I laugh and look back into Imani's face, holding back the words...
Alana's Pov
Prom Begins
My friends and I did last minute check ups in the bathroom before prom began.
"You ready girls?" I asked Imani and Tamara.
"Yesss.." they both say at the same time. Us three walk outside of the bathroom and into the gym where everyone was to going. Us three turned in our tickets and walked into the gym. The decorations were beautiful.
"Yo you guys did a great job on this.." I said as they smiled and high fived each other. The boys waved at us from the table of which they were sitting at. We walked over to the table and sat down.
"We're gonna get you guys something to drink.." Alex said and Xavier gets up and goes with him. They came back to the table with 5 cups of fruit punch, setting each cup in front of us.
"Why thank you gentlemen.." I smile.
Imani's Pov
10 Minutes Into Prom
"Just so you know I'm staying by your side all night, you're gonna get a surprise tonight...", I say in Tamara's ear while we sit at the table and talk.
She responds with a kind and happy look on her face and her eyes glistening in the dim light.
I look over at Alana and tap her while picking up Tamara by her right hand and bringing her over to me in front of the table.
"Tamara....I can't help but wait until later, I gotta do this now....", I say looking down. "I've loved you since I've seen you for the first time and I can't just be denied once, please tell me your feelings have changed....", I say while looking in her face also noticing that all of our friends are looking at us which makes me get scared.
"Actually...", Tamara says pulling my face toward her and looking deeper into my eyes. I cut her off and start making out with her falling slowly into the chairs and landing softly with her on top of me and me in the chair, she doesn't stop and lets me grab at her ass and hold her waist. She stops kissing me for a slow moment and says, "...they actually have changed....and I want to be with you now Imani, I love you....", as soon as it's said all of my friends go wild with Xavier in the background saying, "Bestfreind you better get that girl!!!!!!!! Imani you did it!!!!!! I told you!!!!!!", now screaming and egging us on, so we keep kissing and eventually she sits in the seat next to me and we hold hands, I don't have to hide anymore, I can be free. I think while having a long smile and give her a peck one last time saying,"I love you too Tamara....
