"Daddy stop it!"
"Shut up, you stupid bitch!" Dad screamed
"Aaaahhh" Mom screamed after Dad slapped her and she fell to the ground.
"Dad, please stop!" I screamed tears falling down my face.
"That's it!" He screamed, "i'm through with your bitching!" He yelled walking towards me
I woke up sweating and scared, and I started to cry. I looked over and saw it was 2:34 am. Realizing I have school tomorrow, I started to cry myself to sleep again. My alarm went off shortly after I fell asleep. I quickly got up, and got dressed. I was wearing my usual jeans, black hoodie, and converse. I walked over to my mirror, looking at my; brunette hair, blue eyes, and unattractive features. Moving on with my morning, I quickly brushed my teeth and rushed out the door. Hoping I didn't miss the bus, I ran to the bus stop. Once I saw the other kids there I was relieved, but frightened at the same time. I tried to get by unnoticed, but one of them spotted me.
"Hey look, it's the mute freak!"
"Hey, you gonna speak or what, you freak!" One of them shouted before pushing me to the ground. Everyone started laughing at me. Trying to fight the years, I ran away. I decided to walk to school instead. I grabbed my phone, put in my ear buds, and turned on Homecoming King by Andy Black. Wishing I was invisible, I wiped away the tears. After about 20 minutes, I was at the school entrance. Welcome to Hell, I thought. I walked through the door, and hurried over to my locker. I quickly grabbed my books, and tried to get to my class unseen. Of course, Jessica Piere; captain of the cheerleaders, saw me and bumped into me; causing my books to fall to the ground. I crouched to the ground to pick up my books, but she kicked my in the stomach.
"Watch where you're going, mute," she said laughing with her group of fake, rich friends. I quickly picked up my books and ran to my class. English class, I love the teacher and don't mind the subject.
"Ok everyone, take your seats," Mrs. Crane told us. I took my seat by the back like usual, pulled up my hood, and waited for her to start her lesson.
"Today we will be starting a project," she informed us, "and before you guys complain, you can have partners"
The class cheered and started looking and point at each other.
"But since we have an odd number, someone is going to have to work alone;"
"That's ok, the mute can work alone," Jessica smiled while everyone laughed, while I looked down at my papers.
"Not funny Jessica," Mrs. Crane warned. The papers were handed out, an essay on things that interest you. Sounds easy, I thought. We worked on our project for the rest of the class. Then I had math, science, then lunch. At lunch I just got a water and went outside, and sat down under a tree. It was fall, my favorite season. Soon the bell went off and I went to history, then home.
On my way home, I noticed a family moving in a block away from my house. I thought nothing of it, and continued walking. Once home, I wrote some more ideas down for my essay. Then ate a small salad and went to bed.
