Now, that's just what people are born with. Some aspects of the watch can be changed. The armband changes to match your soulmate's hair color. The color of the numbers change to match the mood of your soulmate.
When you find your soulmate, the watch clicks and falls off. That signals that you have met the person meant for you, romantic or platonic. You just have to figure that out yourself.
