she looks like her too...
is this jennie kim really my jennie? i dialed yoongi hyung's number. he picked up after the third ring.
"taehyung! i can't talk right now, she-she's in the hospital! she's dying taehyung! come quick!"
"wait who?"
"jennie kim!"
"what do you m—"
"FUCKING HELL STOP ASKING QUESTIONS AND RUSH TO THE HOSPITAL FUCKER. DO YOU WANT TO LOSE HER FOR THE SECOND TIME?!"
with that, the call ended.
i ran to the hospital on foot, it's just a ten minute walk from my café. i reached the hospital, panting and sweating heavily. i spotted yoongi hyung from a distance and ran towards him again.
"hyung, what's the condition in there? why did you ask me to come? what did you mean by do you want to lose her for a second time?"
"idiot... this jennie is the jennie you've lost years ago! i lied to her and you. i told her she can't live for long because she'll wake up with amnesia, taehyung. i told you she died because i wanted you to move on with irene and be happier since jennie can't remember you. her amnesia is permanent taehyung."
"her amnesia is permanent...? and you lied to me?! HOW COULD YOU?! now i'm gonna lose her again.." i couldn't control my tears. i'm gonna lose jennie again.
the doctor in charge came out of the surgery room and looked at the both of us.
"whose jennie kim's relatives?"
"both of us are." yoongi hyung told the doctor.
"very well. by right, her amnesia is permanent.. however, due to the impact of the car accident, it solve her amnesia! i wouldn't say this is a sad thing, it's actually a blessing. she did not suffer any major injuries other than scratches."
"oh thank god..." i let out the breath i didnt realise i was holding.
"you may visit her. she's still asleep though." with that, the doctor left.
