She wrote away her pain.

Every single word contained a piece of her pain.

Her heart wept but she would never let it show.

She would never show the sadness that hid just below the surface.

No one ever noticed.

No one but the boy who watched her.

No one but him could see the pain stricken curly head girl.

Her beauty was a mask.

So she wrote.

She wrote about anything but what was currently around her.

She sat silently in her room with tear stained cheeks and music blasting in her headphones to sound out her weeps.

She wouldn't break.

She wouldn't allow herself to.

Because she had him

The boy who loved her and the boy she loved.

She's had six months filled with memories of him.

And hopefully she'll have six more. And six more after that.

She closes her battered leather journal.

She wipes her tears.

She turns off her music.

She smiles.

Her phone rings and her smile widens as she's sees his name.

He is outside her window.

He waits for her to make her way down after acknowledging her of his presence.

He hides something behind his back, something for her.

He smiles when she runs to him.

They hug.

They kiss.

And smile.

"I've got something for you. Close your eyes." She does as told without question.

She trusts him.

He ties something around her finger.

A thread.

She opens her eye giving him a questioning look.

"This is thread the will forever bind to each other."

She smiles.

"Do you trust me?"

She still smiles but now nods.

"Will you do me a favor?"

"Of course."

A piece of something cold hits the finger he tied the thread on.

It's a ring

Amethyst

Her birth stone

"Will you be my wife?"

"Will you be my wife?"
