Chapter XI

Janaysha

Holy Hera. What had just happened? Junashri was normally the quiet, innocent type. For her to volunteer in a mission that would put her life at risk was shocking for Annabel and I. We looked at her, and her face was plastered with shock and fear, but behind that mask, was courage I could sense.

"Why you? You haven't even been claimed yet! And besides, what kind of a God would claim you?" Drew said. Oh, if she had been closer to me, she wouldn't be standing.....

"I didn't want to mention this to anyone, but I had a vision, a dream, a long time ago. On the third night I was here. I'm destined to go on this quest, Chiron."

"Tell us, dear. What was it you saw?" He questioned.

"Ok. Here it goes."

"I was on a ship. A ship made of Celestial bronze or glistening gold. Well, what ever it was, you wouldn't be able to tell. It was covered in soot.

This ship had been attacked. I was transported to the deck of the ship. There were a bunch of men in traditional battle wear. I couldn't tell if it was traditional Greek or Roman. There were ten teens, including me, on deck. Six had orange shirts, and four had purple. I recognized faces but oddly couldn't touch on their names. I wasn't in control of myself. I along with the others, fought the bandits off. When I was about to see if we had won or not, my dream shifted. I was surrounded by a red aura. There was a lady infront of me. A radiant lady. One so beautiful, it had to be Aphrodite. She spoke.

'Listen, my child, you are to go on this quest. Fight alongside your half-sister and friends. Prove to Olympus why I chose you.' And I woke up."

The camp was in silence. Chiron processed this vision. He spoke.

"My dear, dreams aren't just dreams to us. You could be right. You could be the chosen one for this quest. If only we-" He was cut of short as his gazed planted itself on Junashri. Suddenly, the whole camp was staring at her. She was scared by this sudden attention, and realized why we were all staring. A red, pink, and white smoke engulfed Jumashri. I couldn't see her anymore, and tried to touch the smoke. It shocked me. Not like lightening, but like in the winter, when the air is dry kind of shock. She was trapped in there.
