When Luna woke up she noticed she was in her room. Looking at her phone she found a new message from Mikey wishing her good morning. Her face lifted into a smile as she left her warm bed to go downstairs. Walking into the kitchen she found Liz and Andy in the middle of what seemed to be a serious conversation. They broke off as Luna walked to the pantry.

"Morning. . .is everything okay?" Liz and Andy cleared their throats trying to think of what to say.

"We were just discussing all of the things we need to get done today. Once you've had breakfast we need to go over and try to sort through your parents' office. . . " Liz's voice trailed off nervously.

"Oh okay. . . are we still meeting with your lawyer today?" Luna picked at her fingernails, her voice becoming timid.

"We do." The air became tense as Liz shifted on her seat. Luna felt bad. . . she hadn't meant to be a problem."

"What time are we supposed to do that?"

"In about an hour or so. We have to drop Luke off at I think Michael's before we go though."

"Let me just go get changed then. . ." Luna turned and walked out of the room as fast as her feet could carry her. She passed Luke's room as he was walking out.

"Morning Lu."

"Oh hey Luke, gotta go get changed." She brushed past him quickly leaving him no time to reply.

Bursting into her room she tried to think clearly. Liz and Andy weren't going to let them take her anywhere. She had to remember that, and most likely her parents would have stated this in their will. They would want the Hemmings to take care of her. That's a thing right? 

Slipping on a pair of converse she headed back downstairs, trying and failing to tame her hair into a ponytail. Frustrated she gave up, only pulling up half and leaving the rest to do as it wished. She hustled back into the kitchen as her phone vibrated with a message from Ashton, questioning whether she would be coming to Mikey's with Luke. She shot a message back before looking up to Liz.

"I'm ready to go over if you are."

Liz lead the way out of the house as Luke wrapped an arm around Luna's shoulders and tried to make her laugh. Shooting him a funny face she laughed anyways.

"Are you guys working on your cover today?"

"Yep, we're hoping just a few more rehearsals and we'll be able to get it up for all to see."

"I get to hear it first though right?" Luna nudged him in the side wriggling her eyebrows at him. He sighed scratching the back of his neck.

"Umm, maybe?" Luna unlocked the door, ushering Liz inside first.

"I don't make you nervous, do I? I mean you sing in front of me all the time."

"But this is different Lu." She laughed softly.

"How is it different?" He grabbed her by the arm stopping her, as she looked at him her gaze softened.

"It just is, but I'll think about it and run it by the guys later."

"Okay, I understand."

He shot her a quick smile before running up the stairs yelling, "Race you!"

His long legs propelled him up the stairs before Luna could even move. Rolling her eyes she began to follow the overly tall boy to the office. As she strolled through the door Liz looked up.

"So, I think I found all of your dad's codes."

"Already? I guess that means he never hid them better like I had suggested."
