Skylar's POV
I couldn't contain my joy and I started crying. I had never been brave enough to actually audition, much less would I have thought to audition with Kim Taehyung, the bad boy. I never thought I would be hugging him right now, and I never thought he would hug me back. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

Suddenly, Kim Taehyung grabbed my hand and dragged me with him.
"Where are we going?" I asked
"Wait and you'll see," he answered, making me really curious
We ran all the way to a park near Han River
(A/N: There may or may not be a park near the Han River, keep in mind this is fictional, though I wish it wasn't 😭)
Then there were a few rocks near a bridge. The rocks made a beautiful little cave.
"What do you think?" he asked
"It's beautiful," I answered, astonished by how beautiful it was
We then sat and chatted for a while. We really got to get to know each other more.
"How are your parents?" I asked, "You never talk about them."
"They're never here," he asnwered
"You live alone?!?!" I shouted
"No. Well, kind of," he answered, "My parents are in America. They left me with my aunt and her husband, but I asked them if I could stay at my own house, and they said yes as long as they checked on me twice a month," he explained, "That way I'm also not a burden to them."
"You're not a burden, nor should you consider yourself as one," I said
"What about your mom?" he asked, changing subject
"My mom is dead, but I don't know where she's buried. I've asked my dad to take me to where she is, but he won't take me. I hate my stepmother. She always prefers my half sister over me," I said, "My dad always says that my mom sung Somewhere Over the Rainbow, the song we sang, when she was pregnant with me."
"I'm gonna promise you something," he said, "I will help you find where your mother is."
"Pinky promise?" I said
"Pinky promise."

The weekend was really busy. I was doing dance studio on Saturday mornings and gymnastics on Sunday afternoons. In dance we were doing an Enrique Iglesias song called Baby I Like It, featuring Pitbull,which I had suggested because I had heard it in America.
(A/N: Baby I Like It was really popular like in 2010, you should listen to it)
Right after practice, I got a message from Soomi:
Sooommmiii: So, you know how Kookie and I are together?
Me: YES
Sooommmiii: So, we are going on our first date...
Me: OMO!!! CONGRATS!!! 🎉🎊
Sooommmiii: But I was wondering if you could come with me.
Me: But why? I don't want to make it uncomfortable for you two.
