AN: Hello Everyone!! Just wanted to thank everyone for voting and commenting on SR!! I love to read your comments! Here is just a short bit of chapter four, the rest will be out in the next couple days :D Trying to get caught up after being away at camp for three days this week!!
Not wanting to be left out of all the fun, Louis charged forward jumping on Harry’s back. Not expecting the added wait, Harry’s knees gave out, two boys went crashing down to the ground.
Groaning Harry picked himself off the ground, “Gosh Lou! Heavy much!”
Louis didn’t even reply, he just shook his head and jumped up from his position in the dirt. Peeking down at his ruined jumper Louis just smirked. “Liam! Oh Liam! Can I have a hug?” Without waiting for an answer Louis rushed towards the other boy. With no chance of getting back inside Liam took to running behind the shed for cover. Not the smartest plan Daddy Direction had ever made. When he got behind the shed he realized the con of his plan; he had no idea where Louis had gone. With any chance he would have lost interest and went after someone else, but knowing Lou he would be plotting a plan to get his dirty hug. Liam rested his back against the shed still slightly panting from his sprint. Just as his heart rate started to slow down he heard very child-like laughter coming from his left. That could only mean one thing; Louis. Liam guessed that the other boy was waiting around the left corner, thinking that he could escape the older lad by going to the right. Liam crept through the longer grass towards the opposite corner of the laughing. Quietly jumping out from his hiding spot he started making a break for the house. Before he had even cleared the end of the shed he was tackled from both sides by four very muddy boys. Where they had found the mud was a mystery to Liam, all he knew was that he was now covered in it from head to toe.
“Thought you could escape us did you?” Louis smirked while Liam just groaned; being on the bottom of a five boy doggy pile is never a fun thing, especially when the four on top of you are addicted to food and junk. From the top of the pile Harry started to squirm, he never could stay still for long when they were acting this way. Their doggy pile wasn’t stable, Harry’s small wiggling knocked the whole pile over, the four boys on top of Liam crashing down to the ground on the right.
“If you boys are done goofing around, I could show you around the house…” Talia spoke up from where she had been watching them goof around on the grass.
“Umm I guess, sure. How long have you been watching us?” Harry stuttered, sheepishly smiling up at her, four boys snickering behind him.
“Not too long,” the boys sighed in relief. “Just long enough to see you all tackle Liam from behind the shed.” Five jaws dropped in her direction in disbelief.
Slowly the lads stood up and shook as much dust as they could off their bodies, as they made their way to the doors inside. Talia was waiting at the kitchen island for them. Now taking the time to notice their surroundings the lads looked up in astonishment at the very modernized kitchen. The counters were a dark granite stone, all the way around the kitchen. The white cabinets had a vintage look to them and were likely a part of the original kitchen. The hardwood floor was continued in through the room, adding a dash of personality to the gorgeous kitchen. All the appliances were brand new and high quality. Niall didn’t waste any time in going to raid the fridge, if Liam hadn’t rushed forward and grabbed him by the back of his collar, pulling him away from the stuffed refrigerator.
“Niall! You need to control your hunger mate and be polite!” Liam reprimanded the boy who sheepishly looked up at the lad in front of him.
“Sorry daddy, I’ll apologize.” He turned to Talia before Liam could chide him for the use of that nickname. “Sorry Talia, I’m just always hungry.” He blushed lightly, looking at the ground the whole time.
“It’s fine Niall.” Talia smiled at him, and for two seconds Niall had a feeling that he knew her from somewhere, he just couldn’t place his finger on it. Deciding to think on it later Niall just shrugged and followed everyone else down the hall on the other side of the kitchen.
The hallway led to a theatre room at the back of the house. There was to rows of reclining chairs in front of what appeared to be a blank wall. Talia moved forward and pressed a few buttons on a remote before stepping back beside the boys who were watching in amazement as a large picture appeared on the wall. What they had taken as a blank wall was actually a very large T.V.
“This is the theatre room, as you might have already guessed. Feel free to use it whenever you feel like.” No one answered Talia. Instead they raced forward arguing over which show to watch. “Well I guess you all will be busy in here for a while so you won’t want to see the pool.” Smirking Talia turned away from the boys and slowly started walking down the hall again, only this time moving down the staircase at the end. Not wanting to lose her all five boys abandoned the room and raced down the hall after her, toppling over each other in the process.
