A kings quest

chapter one

Third person pov

Once upon a time there was a king.the king was happy for he had just become king. The new kings name was Bo. For a while Bo ruled the village. One day while king Bo was sitting in his throne when he heard screams coming from the village. He looked out his window and terror filled his eyes. His beloved village was being destroyed by a huge beast. The king was furious. King Bo wanted to go down there and destroy that thing but before he could his executioner put his arm out and said. "King please stay here. I will protect you. Just stay safe." and the executioner ran out. He watched as the beast threw him about. When the beast was finished it walked off. King Bo ran out to his executioner. He kneels down next to him. His final words we're "stay safe king. Don't do anything stupid. We won't be here to protect you. So just be safe" then he closed his eyes. " thank you for being brave. You will be remembered for your bravery." Bo said as tears ran down his cheeks. I couldn't have saved them. I couldn't do anything. I'm a terrible king. The only thoughts king Bo had was how bad of a king he was. Then it hit him, he was going to avenge his village, his executioner and all if the people he lost due to the beast. He vowed from that day forward he would get stronger find allies defeat the beast and rebuild his village. For my kingdom. He thought as he wiped the tears from his eyes. He stood up and ran back to his castle.
