I blast the music louder and louder in hope it will tune out my thoughts
I sit in my pitch black room all alone
Slowly I tug at the sleeves of my hoodie before wiping away my tears of despair
What happened? What went wrong?
With a deep breath I pull the sleeves of my hoodie up so I can trace my fingers against the newest marks
Sitting there alone I stare into the darkness as my thoughts suddenly take over my mind
Flashbacks of all the hurt,loneliness, and anger take over my body.
As I close my eyes I can see your face.. I try reaching for you, for you to save me, but you turn away leaving me to fall
Why did you leave? You were my oxygen. I needed you to survive
My world feels so cold and empty without you
But for some reason, I still LOVE you.
