Chapter 2

Jake never comes up the stairs so we all go look for him. We hear voices in the office, I hear Jake's voice. "Where are the guys?" Tessa, I think, answers, "With the new girl." I hear Jake laugh, "You don't sound so happy.. you mad cause you think she gonna steal yo man?!" I gasp and turn to look at everyone but they're already looking at chance. Chance looks at me and look away. "Please! I know she can't, Chance ain't attracted to ugly people!" Tessa comes back. I hear everybody 'oooo' inside the office..

I start to cry and run up the stairs. I don't know where to go so I run to Chance, Anthony, and the twins room. I sit in a gaming chair and I hear murmurs and people run up the stairs. All four of them open the door. All of them ask me questions all at the same time, "Please... I'm t-to ugly fo-for you g-guys.." I say sobbing. They all sigh and Chance walks out and I hear him go down the stairs. "I'll be right back, Becca. Okay?" Anthony says walking out. I just nod my head and face away from the twins. "Why are y-you guys h-here?" I ask looking at the wall. " Well, one, we care for you.. we haven't known you that long but, we care for you.. I care for you."

I smile because that was Ivan, I never expected to hear Ivan Martinez to tell me he cares for me. "And two, you're in our room.." they're right. I'm in their room. I should leave. "You're right." I get up to walk out but Ivan grabs my arm and pull me back to him. He grabs me and hugs me tightly. "Stop.. please I'm tired of being called names. I'm tired of not fitting in.. I'm tired of people making fun of me! I'm tired of not being happy! Today was the best day of my life because I met you g-guys! I can't even en-enjoy that! Just please..." I sobbed into Ivan's chest. I felt Emilio walk up behind me and rub my back.

"Becca. I'm so sorry that this happened.. I had fun today with you.." I heard Emilio say, his voice cracked. "I'm just tired of people telling m-me that I'm n-n-not.. good enough! I'm t..tired of being c-called fat and u-ugly!" I cry uncontrollably as Ivan and Emilio hold and comfort me. Ivan  is still holding me, stroking my hair, Emilio is rubbing my back. "Please guys.. w-why are you c-caring about m..me?! I'm to ugly for you g-guys!" I felt Emilio stop rubbing my back and I heard him say, "I'm sorry Becca..." He walks out and it's just me and Ivan now. I calmed down and started talking to Ivan.

"I'm sorry.. it's just.. you and Emilio are funny, sweet, hot.. I'm so ugly.. there are so many girls out there for y'all.. better looking than me! I hate the way I look because of girls like Tessa! I've always dreamed about meeting you guys and being on team 10. I've always wanted to meet Tessa cause she was cool. I feel useless everyday then I finally meet the guys of my dreams, literally, and s-she had to ruin it! I loved hanging out with you and Emilio because you guys are funny! But I just feel so ugly.. I'm sorry." I rant to Ivan, who is now holding me but we're sitting on the bed.

"Becca.. listen. I'm sorry that Tessa said that. When I first saw you, I thought you were so beautiful! You're not ugly, you're not fat... I really like you. Emilio likes you also. I don't know why Tessa would say such things. But I'm very.. sorry." I see a tear roll down his eye and I feel bad that I've ruined everyone's night. "I try to have fun.. I love hanging out with you guys because y'all are super funny and just all around the best people I've ever met! I love your personality.." I tell Ivan. He's still holding me tight, like protecting me.

"I have always had a crush on you and Emilio.. I just liked you better. And I never thought I would meet you guys or be a part of team 10! It's a prevalige!" He smiles, "I loved chilling with you too. You're funny and I like how chill you are. You're very Savage!" I laugh and he smiles. "I love your smile.." I say looking into those gorgeous eyes. "I love your smile and laugh.." he says staring back at me. I blush and look down. "I find it cute when you blush." I laugh and so does he. We stare at each other for awhile and Ivan starts to lean in, I lean in. We kiss and I felt like my heart exploded in my chest.
