Three little words
With the middle one being one
Many don't even know how to exactly define
I love you
Many say
And I'll stay till the end
A promise never kept
Where are you now?
Somewhere on earth
Whispering the same words to someone else
The same words you said to me
I love you
Words that I can never define
For they are meant to be
Words of comfort
But to me they words
Of another fairytale one that never ends happily
I could have chose
To like you
But I gave you my heart
With trust that you
Will keep it safe
And yes I told you
I love you
With meaning to it
But yet you chose
To crumble it up
Like used paper
And threw it on the floor
Forgetting where
You received it
In my hands
The same hands that
Cupped your face telling you
"its alright this will pass too"
The same hands that
Wrote life letters for you
With the sweetest words
The same hands that soothed
Your back while you on
My chest
The chest where my heart
Beat faster than a drum
When my eyes saw you
The same heart I ripped out
And trusted you with ...
I love you
Let me correct this
I thought I love you
It is nothing I can be too sure of
Now it seems I had just dug
Yet another hole
And I was trapped in
My emotions towards you...
That is why I say
I thought
I Loved You
But keep in mind
Thoughts can be deceiving
