Everyone in this town thinks i'm crazy or a lying little teenage.

Dad is still depressed because my thoughtless slut of a mother.

He won't talk to anyone, not even me or Daniel.

It's nearly been three months since Ellie, our cleaner, caught my mother and my uncle doing 'it' in our pantry.

I have no respect or love for my mother at all anymore. How could she do that to dad?

He is more fragile now than ever. And with his own brother?

Uncle Jack has been trying to apologise for weeks, I have been shutting him out and Daniel is just distraught.

Daniel and Uncle Jack were so close. Were.

I remember when i was 9 and Daniel was 6, the three of us would escape through the hole in the garden fence, we climbed the old trees for hours and kicked the ball at our scary neighbour, Saggy Susan's pet cat.

She has a terrifying saggy chin and whenever she lectures us about the rare snail species that eat her all her home grown veggies, it wiggles and sways from side to side. It's probably another thing on my list on shit that keeps me up at night.

I loved when we did that together. Now all those lovely memories that i have cherished have basically been brutally murdered. Harsh, I know, but the truth is harsh.

I need to get through to Dad, make him aware of reality and that he has two kids who can't live on their own, or without him.

I'll be sure to update soon.

Sincerely, Olive Jefferson.
