Seren (Old, Discontinued Version)

Prologue

  There are two demensions and two worlds. Both with the same solar system and one world and one world that harbors life. Despite being the same planet, the geography and lifeforms differ. One world is called Seren(Sehr-ren) and the other is called Earth. The two are connected by a portal known to both wolrds as Whirlwind, for it comes in a whirlwind of color and takes anyone within reach to the other world. Whether it is from Seren to Earth or Earth to Seren, if who or what ever being is taken , then that being must find their way back to their own original world. If they are Serenian, then they will most likely continue where they left off. If they are Earthin, then even if they do continue where they left off, what good will it do? Serenians do not die from old age like Earthins do; they completely stop aging after a certain age (from between 17 to 29). They are not immortal, they can die from disease; they just don't grow old like Earthins. If an Earthin (age is irrrelevant) arrives in Seren, they will stop growing at the age of 17-29 or look like they are that age (kind of like the movie 17 Again; only you don't go back to what you looked like before and just stop growing no matter what). So if an Earthin goes back to Earth, then generations will fly by and unless that Earthin finds another like themself, Earthin or Serenian, they will be alone for the rest of their life just watching generations go by a if they were days. As if they were meeting new, strange people every day, only to lose them on that very day.

Prologue Fin

Well... That was.... depressing. But really a true fact in the story. Before people began to realize that they could live a full life without having to go through such misery, they thought that they would die completely alone and were afraid.... Yes, I did just now make that up. The story is still developing even now that the current Seren has already gotten to its second volume! Now, if anyone's really reading this (beside myself, friends, and family), I must tell you that the real reason why I redid this story is because everything was a mess! Important parts that needed to go in certain places were placed randomly throughout. Then the characters were also placed randomly and it was mostly comedy relief.
I swear! This is less like the Extremely Rough Draft of Seren and more like a Seren fanfiction created by the author, herself! ... But still... If I hadn't made this then the current Seren would most likely be completely different...
