Kid x Vampire!Reader

The moonlight shined down on the forest as the wind blew through the trees of the forest. All was calm, until two figures ran through the forest trails. One jumping through the trees, the other following closely on the ground.

You let out a low growl of irritation and annoyance, you were running out of trees, a clearing coming fast. With the man behind you was relentless, no matter how fast you ran, he seemed to be just behind you the entire time, yelling your name into the wind as you both ran. You had almost snapped back there, your secret almost revealed. You never told Kid or the crew about your "ability". Unlike most vampires, you were able to walk around under the rays of the sun without the painful burning, but only for a couple hours. You traded your keen eyesight to be able to walk under the sun. You had also traded your lightning speed in order to have the ability to control water. Those were the reasons it wasn't painfully obvious, of what you are. You had never tasted human blood, the only blood you have drank was other vampire blood, or animal's blood. You didn't have the venom like most did, that either turned or killed the bitten. Yours was a numbing or sedative bite.

Today however, was the biggest test of you self-control. Normally you would hold your breath until you could walk away from the scent of pouring blood, but a crew member training with killer got a deep gash on his arm when things spiraled downward. Pouring blood on the deck before you could stop your breathing. It took everything you had not to jump the man that was bleeding. Before your self-control snapped, you ran as fast as you could away from the docked ship and into the dense forest when you thought everyone was preoccupied with the bleeding man.

The voice of your captain snapped you out of your thoughts. "(Y/N)!! As your damn captain, I order you to stop! NOW!!"

You jumped from the last tree branch and into the clearing, just as Kid bursts out of the underbrush and into the clearing.

"What the hell (Y/N)? You have seen a lot more blood than that, and even had some on your hands, why act like a little bitch now?" he said, taking a step forward.

"Stay back Eustass, you wouldn't understand!" you hissed taking a step back, mentally cursing when you felt your fangs extending, and nick the skin of your lips.

"Wanna bet (Y/N)?" kid growled challengingly, taking a few steps closer.

His feral growl only made you bare your fangs at him defiantly. Lips pulling back to reveal the sharpened needle-like teeth, combining the moonlight, it made you look slightly more feral. Kid pauses when he sees your fangs glint in the faint moonlight, shocked as the pieces slowly fall together in his mind.

You mistook his shock for fear. "Dammit, I didn't want to show him like this, now....the only person I really cared for, fears me..." You close your eyes tightly, tears gathering in the corners of your eyes. "I don't want to hurt you, I'm sorry Captain Eustass, but I am only a danger to you and your crew. Therefore I am leaving, your crew..."

Kids shock quickly turned into anger when your words reached his ears. His fiery orbs swirled in anger and...sadness?

"(Y/N), you are NOT. Leaving. My. Crew." With that said Kid lifted his arm up, palm facing you. "Attract" he muttered.

You curse the metal bracelet he gave you as you flew over to him by your wrist. He grabbed your wrist in an iron grip with a solemn look. Before biting his lip, hard enough to draw a trickle of blood, which trickled down to his chin. You freeze, your eyes going wide as the scent of his blood drifts into the air, teasing you. Knowing you weren't going to move on your own, Kid tipped your chin before capturing your lips with his own. Some of his blood being pushed past your lips, you shivered at the taste. Sneaking your tongue out, you licked the blood off his painted lips. When you finished and pulled back to look at his face. Not a trace of fear, the side of his mouth moved up into a small smile, and he pulled you back in for a warm and passionate kiss, your tongues battling and dancing for dominance. Neither of you willing to give in. After a few moments, kid had claimed victory before he explored your mouth with his tongue, mapping out every corner, before allowing you to do the same. When you both pull back, there was a thin thread of saliva left from your battle. Kid severed the strand as he licked his lips before lunging and attacking your neck with a barrage of kisses, nips and licks. One of his arms wrap around your waist, while the other snakes up your back to hold your head in place, gently cradling it. When he hit a spot on your neck that gave him a weak moan, he used his own "fangs" and bit down on that spot. He put a tender kiss on it, before pulling away.

You lean forward after he straitens himself and gave him the same treatment, but when you found the spot that made him shiver, you froze up.

Kid felt you stiffen, and closed his eyes with a small sigh. Before pulling your head back over the spot where his pulse lays.

"Do it (Y/N)." he whispers.

You grip is oversized coat, taking a shallow breath before sinking your fangs into his neck. Some of the precious life liquid trailing from your lips down and over Kids collarbone. After a few moments you pull back.

"Kid, I'm sorr-?!" Kid covered your mouth with his hand, not allowing you to finish your words.

"Don't apologize." He pulls you into his warm embrace, hiding his face in your neck.

"Just don't leave me (Y/N). Promise you won't leave." His arms tightening around your form.

Your eyes widen at his request, but soon close as you held the man.

"I promise Kid."
