Y/N POV

"I'm late!"

I sprinted towards the closet and grabbed the first thing I saw and put it on. I went to the bathroom did my makeup. Once done I did my hair, I ran downstairs grabbed my keys and drove away. 10 minutes later, I arrived at the cafe.

Outside the cafe, Namjoon stood there, he turned my direction and smiled. "You're late." He said as he chuckled "Let's head inside" I nodded and he held my hand guiding me inside. We both sat down on a booth, Namjoon released my hand to order our coffee.

I took the chance to roam around the cafe. It had a cozy atmosphere, booths and tables were spread out with a bookshelf filled with different genres of books. Artificial lights were hung around the ceiling. I finished roaming around and head back Namjoon was already waiting for me in our spot. I sprinted over and sat myself down.

"So what are you going to study when aboard?" he asked me.

"Well I'm going to major in Psychology," I told him.

"That's nice," he frowned sadly.

"I know you don't want me to leave, but I can finally accomplish my dream," I told him.

"I know but I wished things were different." He still showed his frown at the thought of me leaving.

"I also wished it didn't end this way" I truthfully said, I also was heartbroken having to leave whom I love with all my heart behind, but this was a great opportunity that I couldn't miss.

"So when exactly are you leaving," he asked finally replacing his frown for a more neutral expression.

"I'm leaving tomorrow at 4" I replied drinking my coffee.

"I'll drop you off," He said while also taking a sip from his americano.

"I'm fine with that" my smile widen at the thought.

"But promise me one thing, In five years exactly on this day, if our love hasn't changed. Let's meet up where we had our first date and restart again. No matter what happens we will always be looking at the same sky." He held out his pinky towards me.

"I promise," I said while wrapping my pinky with his. He smiled at that.

I drove off to my house, tomorrow would be a big day.

Next day, my bags were packed and everything was set for my departure.

Knock Knock

"Enter!" I shouted from across the room.

The door opened to reveal Namjoon, "Are you ready?" he asked.

"Yeah, can you please help carry this bag for me?" Holding a bag in my arms.

Namjoon quickly came over and grabbed it for me.

We both went outside, pulling my things inside the truck, and drove away to the airport.

We arrived at the airport, I went to the counter to check in. I then went to security, once finished I went to my gate number. Namjoon followed along. Before I went on my plane, Namjoon spun me around to face him.

"I'll miss you, I hope we see each other again." He softly whispered then kissed my forehead.

I hugged him. "I'll also miss you." I kissed his cheek, I broke the embrace and went inside my plane.

Present Day

I hopped off the plane, the sun shined on me. "I'm back home," I thought. I smiled, I rented a car and headed to my hometown, Seoul.

A lot of things happen since the last time I was here. I got a degree in psychology and was able to get a job in Seoul as a psychologist.

I missed Namjoon the most during those five years. I didn't date anyone while abroad as my heart always beat for one person and that was Namjoon.

I arrived at the cafe, Namjoon and I went to before I left. I ordered my coffee then sat down. Nothing changed since I left, the atmosphere was still the same, with the same decorations. I went to grab my coffee and left the cafe.

The whole afternoon I explored the whole city missing its presence.

By the time I finished exploring, it was 8 O'Clock. I drove to a park near my childhood home. It was the place where Namjoon took me out on our first date. I exited the car, I strolled on the sidewalk. It leads me to a valley, flowers of different varieties decorated it. On top of the valley, there was a huge cherry blossom tree

I ran uphill, I saw a figure leaning against the tree. A smile spread across my face, I sprinted. Once I was on top, I yelled. "Namjoon!" I ran and hugged the figure. The figure turn to face me clear shocked expressed on his face, that's when I had an epiphany. "Your not Namjoon" I slowly back away clear embarrassment was evident.

"That's true but I have a message from him." The stranger said. He gave me a letter. I accepted it.

"Namjoon wanted me to give this to you."

The stranger left the hill and walked away.

I open the letter,

"Dear y/n,

When you're reading this, it means I'm not here anymore. I'm sorry we never got to see each other again. I pretty sure you've gotten prettier. Flowers like you always become more beautiful as time goes on. Don't cry because I'm gone. Redo your life now, you have a whole life ahead of you. Hows studying? Work hard, and I know you'll achieve your dream. I know you'll be in pain, but as time goes the pain will also lessen. I will always watch you from above, waiting for you. As I always said, "We'll always look up at the same sky, no matter what time of day, it is that is the only thing that will never change." I'll always love you no matter what.

Love your truly,

Namjoon"

I dropped down on the ground, crying.

"Why!"

"Why!"

"Why did this happen to me?"

I yelled and cried at of pain.

Suddenly, someone rubbed my back. I turned around and saw the man who gave me the letter.

"Who are you?" I weakly asked.

"I'm Jimin, one of Namjoon's closest friends," he replied while continuing to rub my back.

"H...How did h..h..he die?" I sobbed.

"He died in a car accident three months back. I was with him in the car, then the truck came out of nowhere hit his side. His last words to me were "In three months, head to the cherry blossom tree park and wait there, a woman will appear there and give her this and this." After he closed his eyes" He told me while also crying at the painful.

He fished inside his pocket, he pulled out a ring. "This is also for you, Namjoon was supposed to give to you today." I grabbed the ring, put it on my ring finger and cried harder.

I stared at the night sky, stars twinkled

"Looking at the same sky, I hope you wait for me up there." I quietly whispered to myself.
