I woke up at my desk to find that someone has put a blanket on me so I wouldn't be cold. Mason must have done it, he cares for me me more than dad does or ever did. I stretch out and look at my alarm clock. 4:27 a.m. I get up and dress myself because I don't think I will be able to fall back asleep. I hear stuff moving around the kitchen. It's either Mason making everyone breakfast, or dad trying to make himself some and leave the house before anyone knows he's awake. I sigh and sit back down at my desk. I still have a lot homework to do.

"Izabelle! Come on! You're going to be late for school if you don't hurry up!"
"I'm coming, Mason!"
I grab my bag and a pop tart off of the counter and run outside to Mason's car. It's biting cold outside, so I throw open the door and hop inside his 2011 ford mustang v6 premium coupe. I love cars!
"And we're leaving the driveway with right minutes to spare!" I say happily.
Mason smiles and says,
"So how is school going? Did you get your homework done last night?"
I nonchalantly replied,
"It's going pretty good-"
"Well?"
Ugh!
"School is going pretty well. I got my homework done."
I had to say that last part averting my eyes to some trees so he wouldn't see my lie right through my eyes. He has a weird talent of being able to do that. As he continues driving I stare out my window at the people walking to school. I see a few people that I know, but none that are really my friends. Katalina got her licence last month, and Kael-
"Kael! Mason, Pull the car over!"
"Wh-"
"Just do it!"
He pulls the car to the curb and I get out.
"Izabelle! You're going to be late for school!"
I barely even hear him.
"Kael! Over here!"
He hears me and waves. He comes over and I say,
"You must be freezing! Come on, get in my brothers car."
He gets into the backseat and I get in the front.
"Thanks, Izabelle. Hey, Mason! I didn't know you were back! How long have you been here?
"I got back late last night, Kael. How's your sister doing?"
"She's good. Thanks!"
Kael and Mason continue their conversation as we pull up to the school. I grab my pack and pull Kael out of the car. We run up to the school and just as we get in the front doors the bell rings.
"Got to go Iz. I'll see you at lunch."
"Ok. "
Kael goes into Mr. Bruce's class and I run to the other side of the school, hoping that I won't be tarty.

Hey guys! I have really enjoyed writing this story and I hope you enjoy reading it. I have decided that until I finish this story I will hold off on Goodbye Isn't Forever. I have had too much on my mind to be switching back and forth between the two so I am just taking it one step at a time.
Please tell people about my stories. It may sound cheesy, but I really motivates me to keep going.
I don't want to bore you with a long ranting authors note but I have one last thing to ask you.
How do you think I can improve my writing? Comment!
