We Become One

"What are we going to do!?" she cries out to me and I look so sad that she just puts her arms around me. As I cry she holds me and rocks us back and forth. "Don't worry we'll figure this out. It'll be fine." she says. Just then my boyfriend Leo walks in and seeing me on the floor sobbing rushes over and puts his arms around me. "What's wrong babe? Are you hurt?" he asks really concerned. "Oh Leo it's just that... I'm pregnant with our child."

"What? Really! This is an April Fools joke isn't it. Well I'm not falling for it Jinx!" he says not believing that I am telling the truth. Charlie ,my best friend, takes the test off the floor and angrily throws it at Leo. "There look at that you idiotic jerk!" she shouts at him. His smile slips into a frown. Looking up he says " Oh you were telling me the truth and I acted like a complete jerk and fool! Babe I'm really sorry!" I just stare at him angrily.

Just then my brother Dagger walks in. He looks at me and says "What's going on?" Then he sees the test and his jaw drops. "Oh.. My.. Gosh.. you're pregnant? Mom is gonna kill you!" he says to me. Leo and Charlie both stand up. Glaring at Dagger Charlie says "You say anything and I'll find you and make you pay!"

Dagger backs up and slams into the sink. He begins to cower and shake looking very frightened. I look at him and say "You've been warned Dag now get OUT!!" He runs for his life and... slams straight into the door. Opening the door he runs through it and slams it behind him. We all look at each other very concerned.

Then Leo gets up and helps me to my feet. I begin to sob so hard that my whole body shakes. He puts his arms around me and holds me to his chest. Then as I look up into his eyes I say "For names I was thinking if it's a girl Tempest Storm Jackson and if it's a boy Hawk Striker Jackson" He looks at me nods and smiles. Then Charlie screams... and falls to the floor on her knees.

We hurry over to her and kneel down beside her. She screams again and arches her back in agony. Her scream becomes a higher pitch and becomes louder. I begin to become frantic with worry. Charlie fall silent and goes still. I say to Leo "Quick call 911!" and he grabs his cellphone. Just then Charlie wakes up and looks around dazed.
