Let's start)

"Zane! We can see the whole town from up here." Travis laughed helping his friend up the tallest tree in town. Zane breathed heavily reaching the top. "I-it really is beautiful." He said catching his breath. "One day you me are gonna move outta this place. And we'll find some where even beautifuler!" Travis smiled. "Is that even a word?" Zane laughed. "Pfft! Where we are going we don't need words. Just each other." He smiled in the warm sun. "It sounds great." Zane chuckled. "Travis! Get down here! It's time for your medicine!" Travis's father called out. "Ugh, coming dad!" He whined. "Do you have to go?" Zane pleaded. "I need my medicine Zane." Travis replied. "But your not even sick!" Zane complained. "Yes I am! I'll be back later. Meet me at the lake!" Travis waved. His purple eyes glimmered one last time as he left. Zane did as his friend asked and waited till sunset to see his dear friend. He spotted the white haired boy aimlessly wandering around. He ran happily to him. "Travis c'mon let's play before night fall!" Zane laughed. "Who are you?" Travis asked puzzled. "Zane? Your best pal? Have you lost your marbles let's go play!" Zane giggled. "Father says I don't have any friends. I don't know who you are." Travis replied sternly. Something was different about him. His eyes, those eyes that were always purple and shining like you could see the galaxy in them, were now green and lifeless. "T-Travis?" Zane said teary eyed. "That's my name. What's yours?" He asked. Zane cried and ran off. The boys from that day on were always apart. Zane never truly understood why he changed. But he soon would.
