Zanes pov

It got to the point where I couldn't take it. Being here meant I'd fall asleep and have that dream. I had to leave. Garroth decided it'd be nice if him, Laurence, and I went to the park. I don't like the outdoors but anything is better than here. Garroth packed a huge lunch for the three of us although it seemed pointless I let him do what he wanted. I dragged myself outside while Garroth and Laurence fought over Kool Aid flavors. I listen to their petty fight until we arrived at the park. I grabbed a Cherry Kool Aid and sat underneath a tree. "Ha! I told you cherry was better!" Garroth laughed. "Pfft, grape is the best." Laurence rolled his eyes. I ignored the noise and relaxed as the leaves blew in the wind. The spring air filled my nose. This was the most calm I'd been in a while. My eyelids were heavy. I couldn't stay awake any longer. Like something was pulling back to that hell. I shut my eyes and let it take over.

"Zane! Why do you keep blacking out?! You have to do it!" Travis shouted. That cold winter forest was dark and cold. Something was coming towards us. It was loud, I could hear it destroying the surroundings in its path. Travis looked terrified. That same book was in my hands. It burned my skin but it felt nice compared to the frost bite on the rest of me. Like I had no control I opened the book turning to some strange page. The stomping got louder. Travis clung to a tree to hold his stance. "Zane! Please stay with me!" He cried out.

My eyes popped open. That was new. Why did I feel so scared? Ugh I came for peace but it's so hard to get that out of mind. But my thoughts were interrupted by Travis and Katelyn in the distance. Kissing and hugging on a dirty a park bench. Is that what he does with himself now? He forgot all about me just so he could whore around. A new girl every month she's nothing special. Just a phase. I must've been staring for quite some time since Travis decided to approach me. "Hey Zane. We haven't seen you outside your house since the incident." He smiled. I was going to ignore him until what he said say with me for a bit. "What do you know about the 'incident'?" I asked cautiously. "Hmm? What incident?" He chuckled at the question. "Are you stupid? Whatever. What do you even want?" I pestered annoyed. "Well I came to ask you that same thing. You seemed to be eyeing me down. Like what ya' see?" He smirked. "I'd like to see you die." I replied. "Oof ouch. Well I can see your busying being a big baby, but when you have the time stop by my place. We rarely hang out." He said cheerfully. "Let's keep it that way." I turned away. "Just know my doors are open." He waved and ran back to Katelyn. Ugh! He's just so hard to talk to. He loves to play dumb but he knows what he did! But at the same time all I want to do is talk and laugh like we used to. Maybe I'll take up that offer. I moved over to Garroth to eat. I enjoyed the show if those to trying to out run one another.

Katelyns pov

We and Travis made our way back to his place. We hung out in his room. "Kate, your crazy!" He laughed almost falling off the bed. "Oh hush like your any better." I chuckled along. He stopped laughing and grabbed his head. "T-Travis! Your eyes are doing the thing again." I said concerned. "Urgh, I-I'll be fine. Erm pass me the juice again dear." He faked a smile. I rushed to his dresser and handed it to him. He took a sip and placed it down. He seemed perfectly fine. His pretty green eyes looked even better. "You okay?" I asked worried. "Heh, yeah. I'll have to ask my dad for more of that medicine. I'm almost out and that's the only thing helping these dumb headaches." He laughed it off. This is a common thing. But it hadn't happened in a while since everyone got back. We hung out and watched movies for the rest of the day until Kawaii~Chan called me home for dinner. I offered for him to come but he declined. Hopefully he'll join us another time.
