Jack tried everything to make Mark love him. He tried giving him gifts, kissing his cheek every chance he got, tell Mark how much he meant to him. Nothing worked and it ended up with Mark cheating on him. Jack told himself 'It just wasn't meant to be..' Jack's similar thoughts haunted his mind, knowing that all these thoughts were true.

Jack felt free in a way. He didn't know how to explain it. He felt free from not having to force Mark to love him.

Jack felt tears run down his cheeks and flow like an ocean. Almost as if his tears were in slow motion. Slowly falling from his eyes to his softly tinted cheeks to the ground.

All of a sudden, Jack felt weak. He fell to his knees and attempted to hold himself with his trembling figure.

His mind was being haunted and taunted with the memories of Mark's cheating. He started gripping his messy green hair. He felt powerless, useless, unloved.

"Mark! I came to visit yo-"
Jack froze in place. He nearly choked on his spit.
Mark and a girl sat in Mark's sofa, sharing saliva.
"M A R K!!"
Jack felt his throat burn with that powerful yell of Mark's name.
The two jumped off of each other and stared at Jack.

Jack heard knocks on his door. He slowly got up and answered the door, "I'm sorry but please lea-"

"Séan."

Jack froze at the deep voice, that voice belonged to nobody other than,

Mark Fischbach.

Jack felt anger boil inside him and balled up his hands into fists.

"What the fuck are you doing here, Fischbach?"

"Séan, lis-"

Jack cut Mark off with a sharp slap to his face.

"Don't fucking call me that! Listen here, I'm sick of having to force you to love me. I'm sick of your bullshit and in general you. I've been crying in my pillow for 2 weeks and I'm exhausted from doing it. Why are you putting me through this pain?

Why are you always taunting me and messing with my feelings?! I get the feeling I'll never escape from you and your emotional manipulation! I can't hide away from the shame of you!"

Jack's eyes were red and puffy and his face was redder than before.

Mark stood at the door with a stinging cheek, and a emotionless expression.

Mark asked, "When did you become so cruel?"

Jack huffed, "When did you lose your emotions?"

"In time, I know you'll leave me Mark, and I'll become one of your distant memories, but love will be easier for me once I love myself and not hate myself because of your emotionless ass."

Jack's face had a cold glare. If Mark squinted, you could have sworn his eyes became slighty gray and little daggers would be thrown at him.

He was done crying for Mark. He was done trying for Mark. He was done being miserable. He tried hard enough and he gave it his best shot.

He was done with Mark.

"Sé-Jack. Listen, please." Mark grabbed Jack's hand and Jack snatched his hand away, as if Mark had a disease.

"Jack, I. I'm sorry for treating you like garbage. I played with your feelings by not returning the same amount affection or even more. I didn't want to cheat on y-"

"Then why did you do it?! If you didn't want to cheat on me, then why did you fucking do it?!"

Mark stood there with no pathetic excuse to cover up his mistake. His head slowly hanging as he looked at the concrete entrance way.

Mark felt tears well up in his eyes and he fell to his knees. Jack backed up a little but kept a cold stare.

Mark finally knew what Jack felt all this time. He felt powerless, useless, unloved.

Jack looked down at Mark's trembling figure on the ground. His cold stare slowly fading away. He knew what it was like to be rejected and being in the same state of mind as Mark.

He saw tears cascade slowly down from Mark's cheek and hit the ground.

Jack then remembered what Mark did to him and returned to his glare. Sure, he was being selfish but can you blame him?

Mark slowly lifted his head from the ground and stared at Jack, "You're haunting me, taunting me all in my brain Séan. I need you back, please."

Jack crossed his arms, having a stare down at Mark.

"Not gonna happen, Mark."

Jack sighed and helped Mark up still keep somewhat eye contact with Mark and saw his puffy eyes.

"Séan, please. Just another chance."

"No, Mark I said no already." Jack slightly huffed once Mark was standing properly now.

Mark still being in tears and Jack nearly breaking down again. They stood there in silence for who knows how long and finally Jack spoke up.

"These tears that I cry they'll help me move on."

Mark's eyes widened as if he knew what was about to happen.

"You won't bring me down anymore Mark, the pain is washing away."

Mark got closer without realizing.

"I'll get over y-"

Jack was cut off with a pair lips smashing onto his. He stiffened and realized it was Mark who was kissing him.

Jack was trying to push the slightly taller man away but Mark wrapped his arms around the smaller figure.

Jack slowly but surely gave in to the kiss and felt Mark smile in the kiss.

Jack was supposed to be avoiding him, ignoring him, pushing him away.

But here he is,

Kissing Mark Fischbach.

They parted from each other's lips and you can hear the two slightly panting.

"So, Jack, can I have another chance?"

Jack wrapped his arms around Mark's neck and sighed.

"I'd love that Mark."
