Caden's P.o.v

============================

I suddenly got ripped out if reality, to the future.

Let's just say I didn't like what I saw.

Death

No, sickness.

No!

Dead bodies. Walking. Almost alive...

How?

Necromancy!

But there are no necromancers at our camp....

Attackers maybe... Dead bodies attacking campers. I saw Lillie healing them, an myself making a force field around her and the wounded.

Where's Levi and Serenity? I wondered, then saw Serenity on top if the lodge draining herself of energy trying to fight the bodies.

"I know your flaw." I heard a voice say, then saw him.

Pitch black hair, and eyes bright green. Pale as albino.

He had Levi, and held a knife to his neck. Lillie and I didn't see him, too busy with the wounded.

"No..." Serenity whispered in defeat. He knew she would die rather than let her friends die.

How though.... And why wasn't Levi just teleporting away?

"Okay, fine Mace. You got me, you win. Just let my friend go." Serenity called, falling to her knees. Mace laughed, and threw Levi to the ground. Levi teleported to the roof where Serenity was, but she was on the ground- held captive by Mace.

"Let's go Serenity." He said, and started dragging her off.

"Serenity! No!" Levi called. He teleported to them and-

I snapped back into reality.

"What's the matter, Love? What was it?" I heard Serenity ask. I couldn't see yet, but I knew she was worried. No matter how calm she acted.

"I can't tell you exactly what happened, because you know, laws of space and time and all that. But I can say a vague description." I reminded them. I gained my vision, but only blurs.

"Well, tell us your 'vague description' so we know what to expect!" Levi's voice said. I winced, knowing that in the future he would feel guilty for letting that Mace guy take Serenity.

"Necromancy." I said, gaining my full vision back.

The first thin I saw was Serenity in a ball sitting next to me. I wanted to tell her everything would be okay, but I didn't know that for sure.

"But... That's.... That's.... But I.... But we.... That's.... I can't... That's..." Serenity stumbled on her words, unable to finish.

"Worst nightmare?" Lillie asked.

""No. It's her worst enemy. Life vs. death. Nature vs. unnatural. It won't work out in her favor." Levi said. I glared at him, and so did Lillie. When I looked back to Serenity she had buried her face in her arms, and was rocking. I sighed. No matter what I said, I didn't know what would happen to her until it happened.

I froze.

I don't know what's going to happen to her.

I took her in my arms, but she stood and started pacing. I reached out to her, helpless. When she's like this I can't help.

I heard thunder out side. Her emotions were effecting the weather now.

"Seren-"

"I need to go." She said cutting me off, and ran out the door.

Damn Levi and his honesty.

I chased her out the door, knowing she was going to her tree.

Yes

That's right

My girlfriend has a special tree.

It's right at the camp center, and you can see everything if you climb high enough.

By the time I got there she was already on top. I climbed for five minutes, before I reached the top.

"How long?" She asked, her face red and tear streaked. Her beautiful eyes had lost the life and her hair was flying in the wind she was making.

I sighed. "By the end of camp." I told her. She looked away, and scanned camp.

"I knew it..." She whispered to herself. I wondered what exactly it was that she knew, but I didn't ask.

"Serenity?"

"Caden?"

"You'll be ok." I said, knowing it might not be true. But it gave her hope. An that meant she could do anything.
