I got shown around the rest of the building and told the basics of what I'd be doing on my internship, although he said I won't find out about my first job until later. As we walked out of the last room everything went quiet and Mr Walker didn't speak, just walked on into the dining room.
"What do you think of the boys you met this morning in the studio then?" He said breaking up the silence.
"They seem nice, very... friendly" I replied, tilting my head to one side confused at why Mr Walker had put so many sandwiches on his tray.
"Well your job for today is to get to know them, after all, you're spending a fortnight with them in Germany.." He said grinning and handing me the tray.
"I am...? When...?" I asked confused.
"In two weeks. Chop, chop. You're losing bonding time!" he said before making the hand 'shoo' movement and leaving me with no option but to find my own way there. I walked up to the door and hesitantly knocked. That familiar Irish voice infecting my ears.
"Come in." I pushed the door open with my back and placed the tray on the table the boys were sat around. All eyes on me. Don't make a fool of yourself [YN].
"Ermm... , Hi.." I began.
"I've been told I need to speak to you guys? ... I'm apparently going to Germany with you soon?" I said looking at the Irish one who was grinning. His smile went from ear to ear and his hair was neatly up into a quiff. He stood up walking towards me before throwing his arms around me.
"My names Timmy, if you've forgotten and this is Mike, Mark, Lachie and Darren" he said, pointing at each boy as he said their name, his beautiful voice echoed around the room before he got cut off. "Why am I always last?!" Darren said before Lachie let out a huge chuckle. Names registered. Just got to get used to that deep voice of his.
"So, [YN] you like music then?" Timmy said leaning against the wall.
"Yeah, I occasionally write my own stuff, nothing brilliant though..." I said looking round the table for a reaction.
"Sing one?" Timmy said out of nowhere. "For me?" he finished showing me them big blue eyes of his. Great. Nothing like making a fool of myself on my first day.
