"Now isn't the time for your silly nagging Timmy, we are stuck in this airport together, just the two of us, until tomorrow!" I snapped. Timmy's huge smile then changed into a sad face.
"Oh, I'm sorry I was just trying to lighten the mood that's all, I'm going for a coffee." he picked up his bag and off he went. 'What have I done?' I thought to myself as I picked up my bag and ran after him. "Timmy" I shouted... At last I found him. I slowly sat myself down on the chair opposite him.
"I'm sorry Timmy, I didn't mean to snap, it's just I've never been to this country before and now we've missed the plane and I'm scared, I don't know what we're going to do."
"[YN] I know you're scared, I was trying to cheer you up that's all. Let me buy you a coffee and we can sit down and talk about it ok?" I nodded slightly.
"Good!" Timmy stood up and made his way to the counter. A couple of minutes later he came back and put the coffee in front of me.
"Right so what we're going to do is talk to the lady at the desk see if they could put us up in a hotel ok?" Timmy asked calmly.
"Yeah ok good idea, I'm sorry" I said.
*10 minutes later*
"Right come on then [YN] lets go back to the desk" Timmy picked up both of our bags and headed towards the door. We both walked to the check-in desk in silence.
"Hello again, are you back to ask about tomorrow?" The lady asked,
"We were wondering if you know of a hotel that would put us up for the night?" Timmy asked.
"Oh yes you could stay in the airport hotel, its just out of the main entrance then turn left." The lady replied. Timmy turned to face me.
"Ok then so we'll go and check the hotel out then work out what to tell Lance agreed?"
"Agreed" I said.
"So you have your tickets, if you can make sure you're here at 8:45, that way you shouldn't miss check in" the lady smiled.
"Thank you, we will" I replied before we made our way to the exit then tried to find the hotel.
"Ahh here it is, lets get those rooms!" Timmy laughed as he made his way up the stairs. We walked up to the desk and a very tall man was say.
"Hello, how may I help you?" he asked,
"Could we have two rooms for tonight please?" I asked. The man tapped away at his computer while Timmy checked his phone then suddenly the man stopped and looked at us,
"Ermm I... I'm sorry there seems to be a problem, we only have one room left in this hotel" The man said.
"Oh ok can we just have a talk?" I asked and I took Timmy to one side.
"What's the matter? Sorry I wasn't listening" Timmy asked confused.
"They only have one room for tonight." I replied.
"Oh well ermm, I could always sleep on the floor and you have the bed?" Timmy said and he walked back over to the desk.
"We'll take the room, thank you" Timmy said, the man processed the room and we exchanged money then a petite lady in a white blouse and a green blazer and knee length skirt took our luggage and escorted us to our room. We walked through the door and wow what a beautiful room it was. The room was pure white, white walls, white bed and bedding, white wardrobes etc.
I sat on the bed then stared to cry.
"What's wrong [YN]" Timmy sat down beside me and rubbed my arm.
"I'm just scared that's all, like I said I've never been away from home properly before and I'm a bit worried."
"Don't be silly [YN] everything's going to be fine, you're with me, I'll keep you safe" Timmy smiled that amazing smile and pulled me closer into his arms.
Timmy was right. I did feel safe in his arms. I felt his grip tighten as he pulled me closer and the hug lasted longer. The moment was perfect. Everything about Timmy was perfect. His hair, his eyes, his hugs. Everything.
