*TIMMY'S P.O.V.*

When Poppy walked out of the door I couldn't help but follow. I knew she needed me right now, to look after our son. But I couldn't just let her go like that.

"POPPY!!" I called running down the path after her.

"Timmy, I have to go, I have a plane to catch, and my taxi's around the corner and the meter's running." She replied, turning back and carrying on down the street. I ran and grabbed her arm,

"At least let me walk you there?" I pleaded.

"Fine." she said, pulling her arm free from my grasp. As we walked down the street, I looked at her and decided to speak, before it was too late.

"Look, Pops, I understand what you're going through right now, and I know you're trying to do the right thing, leaving Ols with me and putting on a brave face, but if you're finding it too hard then just tell me, you shouldn't have to go through it on your own. And yes I know it seems weird with me being with [YN] now, but I'm always here for you, you know that right? So if you need me, just give me a call or a text, and I'll be there. As a friend. To get you through it. Always." We'd reached the taxi before she looked up at me and replied.

"Thank you so much Timmy, you know sometimes, I feel like you're the only real friend I have these days. Especially now.. I didn't mention this before because I know I don't have long before the plane leaves, but after I'd spoken to you on the phone, and said no to Barry, he stormed out, said we were done. I know he was probably just drunk and annoyed, so he'd probably come running back, but I tried to ring him in the taxi, that's why I never rang you to say I was coming over, and he didn't answer, so I gave up, it's his loss, but if he comes looking, tell him where to find me please."

The taxi driver began beeping his horn in frustration.

"HURRY UP! MAKING THIS IS TIGHT ENOUGH AS IT IS" he shouted to Poppy.

"I'm gonna have to go but seriously thanks for everything, I really appreciate it, especially with everything that's going on, not many people would you know, in our situation. So thank you. It means the world." She said before reaching out for the door handle.

"Wait! Come here you." I said quickly, pulling her hand away, spinning her around and hugging her tight.

"Remember, I'm just a phone call away" I whispered into her ear, before opening the door and helping her in.

"Keep me updated" I smiled before closing the door.

"Thank you Tim, I can't say it enough. Just, thank you". She said after quickly winding the window down before the taxi sped away.

I'd just made Olly some toast and milk when Timmy walked back in. I didn't know why he'd followed Poppy, but to be honest I didn't mind, I trusted him, especially because of what was happening.

"I know what you're thinking, and I'll tell you soon" he said to me, as he sent me a half smile before sitting down next his son on the sofa.

"You alright kiddo? Don't worry, mummy's fine and now you've got me and [YN] to look after you till she's back. Trust me mate, you'll love it soon enough." he said putting his arm around him, giving him a squeeze and kissing his forehead.

*15 minutes later*

Timmy closed the book and put it on the bedside table.

"Right then trouble, you better get some sleep, it's already nearly morning now" he said tucking him in and kissing him on the forehead again.

"Night little guy" I said, tucking his teddy into the bed next to him and giving him a little cuddle.

"Night daddy, night [YN]" he said before grabbing his teddy and shutting his eyes. I went and stood next to Timmy, he put his arm around me and smiled, I rested my head on his shoulder as we both just watched for a while.

"Too cute" I whispered chuckling.

"You're not wrong, come on, lets get to bed ourselves" he whispered back.

I went into the bedroom and climbed into bed while he made sure everything was turned off and the place was locked.

"You want to know what happened outside don't you?" Timmy asked as he got into bed.

"I'm not really fussed babe, I trust you so that's all that matters" I smiled, sitting up a little bit.

"Well I'll tell you anyway so that you can't moan about it if we ever fall out" he laughed, winking, "Basically I just told her that I'm always here as a friend, so if she ever needs me, then to give me a call or text, and I'll always be there. That is ok with you isn't it because if..."

It was your turn to interrupt someone for once.

"Yes, of course its fine babe, she's your son's mother, its great that you still get along".

"Thanks [YN], she also said that Barry broke up with her when she refused to run off with him, you said something like that would happen, ha, you really do know men don't you" he chuckled.

"Aye, well you can tell who's good and who's bad, it isn't that hard" I replied, laying back down.

Timmy leaned up a bit, and propped his head up on his hand, with his elbow on the bed, he looked into my eyes.

"And what am I? Good or bad?" he said cheekily with a sparkle in his eyes.

"Ooooo you're definitely a bad one" I laughing, kissing him on the lips, before cuddling up and falling asleep in his arms.
