Chapter 1 Overheard

Natsu's Pov

"Hey Natsu what's up?" asked Mira

"I was wondering if you seen Lucy?" I asked

"No, why?" Mira asked with her wide demon smile

There was no way I was telling Mira the really reason I wanted to see Lucy.

"I had to get a book for Lucy so I need to give it to her." I said while showing her the large leather covered book.

"Ohh!" said Mira with a hit of disappointment in her voice

"Lucy's with Levy in the Library" said Mira.

"Thanks!" I said trying not to sound to excited.

Nice try Mira but I'm not letting the demon matchmaker get involved with me trying to tell Lucy my feelings I thought to myself.

As I got closer to the library my smiling was growing more and more.

As soon I was in front of the library door I heard a snicker behind me.

I turned around to see it was Happy

"Happy what are you doing here?" I whispered with a bit of annoyance in my voice.

"Are you finally going to confess to Lucy?" Happy snickered a bit.

"Shut up and go away!" I whispered harshly.

"Did you hear something?" Lucy said while asking Levy

"No so do you want to hear the rested about the date I had with Gajeel?" said Levy

"Yeah go on." said Lucy

I peeked through the book case to find Lucy and Levy talking at a table surround by books.

"Let's see so yeah after eating at the restaurant Gajeel took me to the park we walk for awhile then stop at the cherry blossom tree and he kiss!" Levy said excitedly.

"Ohh Levy how did you react to the kiss?" said Levy

"I was so surprise but it was amazing!" cooed Levy

"What about you Lucy when are you going to start dating." asked Levy

"When the right guy comes a long." said Lucy

"What about Natsu?" asked Levy

"What why Natsu?" asked Lucy

"Because you guys are so close and would make a cute couple!" Levy said with stars in her eyes

"Levy me and Natsu are just friends besides I don't think Natsu would even make a good boyfriend he's just so explosive and I don't like him like that?" said Lucy

Before I heard more of the conversation I started to leave the library, Happy tried to stop me but I kept walking.

I was so upset heartbroken even, if only I had say and heard the rest of the conversation.

Happy's Pov

As Natsu left I was shocked I thought Lucy like Natsu a lot.

"Lu-Chan your lying so hard to yourself you, because hesitated when you said you don't like Natsu." Levy said

"OKAY I LIKE NATSU A LOT, it just how do I know if he likes me what if he just thinks of me as just a friend." Lucy said with sadness

"Lu-Chan if there is a lot of things I know about you and Natsu, its that you both like each other everybody in the guild sees it THE WHOLE GUILD HAVE BEEN MAKING BETS ABOUT WHEN YOU TWO GET TOGETHER!" Levy said

"You just need to tell him maybe you would know if he likes you just tell him!" said Levy

"Okay Okay it just how do I tell him?" said Lucy

I was so excited that I shouted "Aye, sir!"

"Happy is that you?" said Lucy and Levy

"Oh no I got to go and tell Natsu!" I though

I knew Lucy like Natsu no SHE LOVES HIM

I rushed out the guild looking for Natsu so I can tell him.

When I found him he was sitting in the park looking really sad.

"Natsu Natsu listen I just heard something important from Lucy!" I said

"Happy please I'm not in the mood to talk about Lucy." Natsu said sadly

"But it's important really important!" I said with eagerness

"HAPPY PLEASE NOT NOW!" shouted Natsu

"If it's so important it can wait just not right now okay." Natsu said

I flew away feeling really sad, I have to find a away for Natsu to know that Lucy loves him but how?
