Zanes pov

Days had gone by. It was dark out around 8:30 pm. My eyes wanted to shut. But I didn't let them close. I haven't slept is so long. Then I remembered what Travis had said to me. I guess I'd take up that offer of his. I grabbed my bag and headed out as the others slept. I wasn't even sure if he'd be awake but it was something to keep me up a little longer. I walked up the small stairs on his porch. My hand carefully knocked on the hard wood of the door. Not even ten seconds went by and Travis had already opened the door with his smile. "Look who decided to show up! Come inside." He said cheerfully. I stepped in and closed the door behind myself. "Sorry for...erm, coming so late." I stated. "It's no problem at all. I've been having problems sleeping anyway." He laughed. "I know what you mean." I silently laughed along. He lead to his room and we took a seat on his bed. It was silent for a bit, but the same thing I've wonder for years just couldn't stop coming back. "Why'd you forget me?" I asked. "I have no idea what your talking about Zane. Your a weird one." He smiled. I won't let him laugh it off. "You can't lie to me! Okay? I came here for closure. Not to play these games. I've spent too long thinking I wasn't good enough for you. You don't know how hard that was for a child!" I slammed my fist against the bed frame. He gripped his face in his palm. "Y-you a-aren't a ba-d perso..n." He said sounding pained. "Travis are you okay?! I didn't mean to lash-" He didn't let me finish. "Zane please hand me that bottle." He pointed to a green potion on his nightstand. I recognized it from the moment I laid eyes on it. I grabbed it quickly and stared at him in disbelief. "What are you doing with one of these?! Why do you need this?" I growled. "Z-Zane, don't ask questions. Just give me that damn bottle. I'm so s-sorry." He muttered his words. Seeming unsure. "For what? Why do you need this? You know how dangerous these are?" I dug deeper, determine to figure out why on earth he'd ever use this. He finally looked up and me. The green in his eyes fading. I could feel tears in my eyes just looking at them. While I was dazed he grabbed the bottle and took a swig. Those soulless green eyes returned. "Travis..? Who am I?" I asked. "Zane. Garroths little brother, duh." He laughed. "How long have we known each other?" I asked again. "Like since that last year of high school. I mean we weren't close but we had similar classes." He looked confused. I don't know if I was losing it, or he was hiding something.
