*Asher's POV*
Ever have those friends that force you to go to parties that you don't want to go to? Yeah, those was literally my three close friends, Jacob, Anastasia, and Mike. We were the three closest friends that you would ever meet and yet, we were also well known in our high school. I wouldn't consider ourselves "popular" because I hate that word but don't get me wrong, we weren't loners. Although between us, we were one very weird group that you wouldn't notice from the outside. Jacob and Mike were typical straight jocks. They were on the football team and Mike's girlfriend was the leader of the cheerleading team. Typical, hey? Jacob was very straight as well but he was pretty single. He's the type of guy that everyone knows and loves because of his looks. Other than that, he didn't really do anything around the school but look for fights and talks about how much he wants to drop out and just marry a rich girl so that his life would be set. Anastasia was a hardcore lesbian. I don't think I had ever heard heard her say anything about a guy being cute or not ugly, not even in an attraction way. And then there's me. The social butterfly who talks to everyone and everything. Oh and I'm the only one in my group that is into guys, if you know what I mean. I'm quite out of the closet to my school and luckily, my school isn't very judgemental against people who are part of the LGBTQ+ community so I was never really worried about coming out to my peers. They were all quite accepting."Who's even going to the party?" I asked again for the 5th time as Anastasia, Jacob, and Mike were all chilling at Starbucks for lunch.
"It's Nicole. How many times are we gonna tell you?" Mike chuckled and sipped on his starbucks drink that i never really payed attention to.
"You're going though, she throws lit parties. Trust me." Anastasia tried once more to convince me to go.
"I just want to stay home and binge watch 13 Reasons Why, why is that so hard?" I playfully rolled my eyes, sipping on my caramel frappuchino.
"Okay no, how many times do you say you binge watch that shitty show but never get anywhere?" Jacob raised his eyebrow as he eyed me, causing all of us to laugh.
"He has a point, aren't you on like the 3rd episode or something?" Mike added to Jacob's statement.
"Listen. I'm on the 5th episode, please. Maybe even the 6th." I said truthfully. "But tell me one good reason I should go to this stupid party."
"There's free food. Drinks. Desserts. That's a good enough reason." Anastasia took a big bite of her cookie.
"She has a point. Who doesn't want free food, drinks, and desserts man?" Mike looked up, nodding as if he was trying to go for a philosopher look.
"I can get free food, drinks, and desserts at my house. Not good enough." I dismissed Nicole's and Mike's reason.
"There's this boy that I know kinda. He's going today. If I was gay, I'd dig him." Jacob winked playfully and started laughing. Sometimes, I actually question his sexuality.
"No."

*Alex's POV*
I've been over at Logan's house right after school with our two other friends, Mitchel and Dylan. It's his parents 25th anniversary so they're out of town for the entire weekend and the kid decided to throw a party which isn't something new. He always does.
"Pass me another beer, dude." Dylan ordered from laying on the livingroom couch.
"Shut up, the party hasnt even started and you're already trying to get drunk." Logan replied, raising his brow at Dylan. I just chuckled at both of them. We're all best friends but Dylan and Logan are the ones that argue the most. Mitchel was just sitting at the kitchen doing something on his phone so he was barely paying attention.
