Chapter 1 - Australia here we are!

A/N: Hey everyone! I'm back!! This is book 2 of the series that I'm doing! Enjoy and keep reading!!

I yawn and sit up, and realise where I am. In Kyra's bedroom in Australia. Australia is amazing! Today we are going to Kyra's school, it's a High School as she is now a year 8 this year! We decided to go for a few weeks so we could get some muggle learning in us. It will be a bit weird though as I'll be the only 12 year old in a room full of 13 & 14 year olds.
"Hey" Kyra get's up.
"Come on! We need to get ready for school!"
"Fine." I mumble.

We go have breakfast and then we come upstairs again to change.
"Now" Kyra explains "Here is the uniform" she points to some clothes on the bed.
"Here are yours" then she hands me a skirt, shirt, tie, shoes, jumper & socks.
"Thanks!" I say. I get change and we pack lunch and books.
After we say goodbye to her parents and we head off to the bus stop. There are other kids waiting there and some start talking to Kyra saying.
"Hey!"
"Your back!"
"Great to see you"
I just face the road playing with a strand of my blonde hair.

The bus arrives and I quickly get on and find a seat near the back by myself. I sigh and pull out my phone and check in what's going on in the wizarding world. Then Kyra leaves that big group of kids and comes and sits next to me. They all look at her and then at me, annoyed.
"Hey" she says as she sits down. "How are you?"
"Good" I sigh "I just feel right I'm only 12! Everyone else is 13 & 14! And also if you want to sit with your friends you can I'm not stopping you"
She smiles and looks shocked at the same time.
"Nah and anyway I want you to meet them come on!" She pulls me by the arm and drags me over to all those kids.
"Everyone" she announces "This is my friend from England who has come to stay, her name is Anna"
They all look at me questionably, then one girl with a bob of orange hair said,
"Hi I'm Evie welcome!" She smiles and then everyone introduces themselves.

I had met about 10 new people on that one bus ride which was cool, but once we got to school it was a whole new minefield.
"Ok" A boy called Lucas says "Year Eight is tough and you've come in the middle of the year. You think you can handle it?"
"Oh Pl-ease at the boarding school I was just at I got strait A's thankyou very much!" I grab my stuff and head to my first class.

Today has been really good, except just now I'll tell you what happened I met a girl ruder than Polly Chapman! Or maybe the same... But the thing is her name is Liza... Chapman!! Weird huh! Anyway now I'm walking to the bus as it's the end of the day and I drop my 'school' diary. Lucas bends down and picks it up.
"Here"
"Thanks" I walk away with Kyra trying to catch the bus and Lucas calls out.
"Hey Anna this fell out" I turn around as he runs towards me with a photo. When he hands it to me I realise what it is. It's a photo of Sam and I that Kyra took on the first day of winter.
"Oh that's with my best friend from boarding school" I say and take the photo and Kyra and I sprint to catch the bus.
And as we run we don't see Lucas' disappointed face.
