Chapter 3
"So, whose house?" I ask, jumping into the passenger seat of Carson's Silver Audi. I turn to see him jump in the car, stick the key into the ignition, and start the car.
As he's pulling out of the parking lot, he glances at me out of the corner of his eye, "My house? Mom's at work and Libby's at school, obviously, so we could watch movies in peace." He suggests, turning left towards his subdivision.
His house isn't far from the school, so it only takes us about 7 minutes before we pull into his driveway. His house is a regular two story house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a basement. It's actually really nice and modern since he moved here 8 years ago and style hasn't changed much.
As he unlocks and opens the door, I pull out my phone and see that I have a message from Luke. He's asking if I need a drive home from school. I type a quick reply telling him I'm at Carson's house, so I won't need a drive home.
"Am I staying for dinner or are you driving me home?" I ask Carson, "I need to text my mom." I drop my bag on the floor in the front hall and follow Carson into the kitchen.
"You can most likely stay for dinner, it might just be take out or something." He looks over his shoulder at me, while he sets his bag down on a chair.
"Would I be intruding?" Carson shakes his head, "Then I would be honored." As I pull out my phone, I hear him chuckle. He pulls something out of the freezer, and at first glance I'm not sure what it is.
He sets it down on the counter and I realize that he has pulled out my favourite food of life... PIZZA. "Oh my god, pizza!" I state my inner thoughts out loud, making Carson chuckle.
"Why don't you go choose some of our favourites while I get the pizza started." I nod my head and turn towards the living room, while texting my mom that I'll be having dinner as Carson's and should be home by 10ish.
I try to think of what movies to watch, as I look at the collection of movies in front of me. I end up choosing Pitch Perfect, Frozen (Olaf is the best), The Great Gatsby, The Hunger Games and, for Carson, The Wolf of Wallstreet.
"So I have Frozen, Great Gatsby, Wolf of Wallstreet, Pitch Perfect and Hunger Games. Which one first?" I ask, as I walk back into the kitchen.
"I'm in the mood for Frozen." Carson closes the oven and looks up at me smiling. "I wish I had a reindeer." I chuckle at his childish behaviour.
The stove beeps, signalling that the pizza is done. Carson pulls it out of the oven and sets it on a tray. I pull out two glasses and fill them with milk and bring them into the living room, as he follows behind me with the pizza. I set down the glasses and put the dvd in the player, turning on the tv.
I sit down on the couch next to Carson and lean my head on his shoulder. "I am wiped. I forgot how tiring school is." He chuckles, nodding his head and agreeing.
The movie starts and I'm sucked into the world of talking snowman, and magical powers.

I wake up to someone shaking me. I must have drifted off, while watching Great Gatsby. We have successfully watched all the movies I picked out.
"What time is it?" I groan, still half asleep. I look up to see Carson staring down at me with an amused expression.
"It's 9:00. Do you need me to drive you home or would you rather just stay here in the guest room?" He suggests knowning how tired I am.
"Would that be okay?" I ask, not wanting to intrude. It's not like it's my first night staying over. Carson and I had our first sleepover back in grade 9, when I had liked him, and many times after that too.
"No, it's fine. You have clothes here, and you can use one of my tshirts for pajamas." I give him a small smile and pull out my phone to text my mom.
"Thanks, am I able to have a quick shower before bed?" He nods his head, and we both head upstairs. When we reach his room, he tosses me a tshirt. His room is navy blue. His queen bed is in the middle, the blankets in piles on it, and he has a dresser at the end of the bed. Theres a small desk sitting to the rght of the bed just at the end. He has a shelf over his bed that holds trophies, pictures and medals.
"Thanks!" I tell him, before walking out of his room to go to the guest room. The guest room has it's own bathroom, so I just get undressed and then, grabbing a towel on the way, head to the bathroom and turn on the shower.
Once it's a good temperature, I jump in the shower and quickly wash my hair and body, not needing to shave since I just shaved this morning. When I'm done I get out and dry myself then, leaving my shorts and bra on, I pull Carson's tshirt over my head and crawl into bed.
Before falling asleep, I make sure to set an alarm on my phone just in case Carson accidentally sleeps in. It wouldn't be a surprise, he's a typical teenage boy and tends to ignore his alarm 99.9% of the time.
As I curl up into the bed, I remember back when Carson and I had our first sleepover.I had such a huge crush on Carson back then. I thought I loved him, but I was just some stupid 14 year-old girl. Carson's floppy auburn hair, that's slightly longer on the left side, and his piercing green eyes were my weakness. I would die to have his eyelashes, they're naturally thick and long, a girls dream.
It's different now. I have Luke, he's so amazing and he treats me like a princess. I love him. It's that simple. He has short, chestnut coloured hair, blue eyes the colour of the sky, and his lips are perfectly plump and pink. So kissable.
With the image of my two favourite boys in head, I fall into a peaceful sleep.
