They were all just messing around in Amy's bedroom, being themselves. Amy was scrolling through Netflix, not really concentrating on what was on the screen, as she was looking at her crazy friends. Wisteria and Rachel were rolling around on the floor, Rachel shrieking her head off with laughter. Wisteria was tickling her neck, Rachel's one weak spot.
"Stop, stop! Stop!" Rachel laughed.
Wisteria shook her head, smiling, still tickling her.
"I surrender!" Rachel said, raising her hands up.
Wisteria stopped, and laid back on the floor, Rachel laid beside her, breathing heavily.
"Ugh, guys, just date already." Jacob teased.
"Midget!" Rachel sighed, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
Jacob raised his eyebrows and laid back, smiling at them innocently. Rachel and Wisteria avoided eye contact, not wanting the other person to catch them blushing. Amy rolled her eyes at Jacob, who smiled at her.
"Right, El, Wisp, Midget, I found something that looks kinda good on here." Amy said, pointing towards the screen.
"Ooh, what is it?" Jacob said, slipping off the armchair and onto the beanbag beside Amy.
"'Stranger Things'?" he read.
"Oh I read about that show, it's supposed to be really good." Wisteria said, sliding over to the bed, Rachel following.
"What do you guys think? Should we watch it?" Rachel asked, looking at all of them in turn.
"Why not? The only other option is Shrek, and we all know how Wisteria feels about Shrek." Amy said, looking at Wisteria pointedly.
"Hey! I can't help it if I don't want to watch a giant ugly ogre talking about onions to an oblivious donkey." Wisteria said, gently shoving Amy.
Amy grinned, shoving her back. They soon started a makeshift wrestling match until Rachel pulled them apart.
"Guys! Will we watch it?" she said, smiling at them.
"Yes!" Wisteria said, taking Rachel by the hand and pulling her down beside her.
She let go of her hand, and blushed slightly. She couldn't see it in the dark, but Rachel was blushing too.
"Come on then, let's go!" Amy said, pressing play.*eight episodes later*
Amy was in tears, Jacob was almost crying, and Wisteria was sobbing her heart out. Rachel was wiping her tears away with the back of her hand.
"Where did she go!" Wisteria sobbed.
"What's happening to Will?" Rachel wondered, tears building up in the corners of her eyes.
"Eleven's pretty cute." Jacob observed.
"I know right?" Rachel and Wisteria answered simultaneously.
They looked at each other, and giggled slightly.
Amy sighed wistfully.
"Is it just me, or are Mike and Will the cutest couple ever?" she sighed.
"Oh my god, yes. They're so cute." Wisteria gushed.
"I love them together." Rachel sighed.
"What's their ship name?" Amy wondered.
"Oh god." Jacob groaned.
"W-wike? No, no.. Byler! That's their ship name! Yes!" Wisteria shouted.
Amy laughed loudly, wiping her tears away.
"So I'm the only one who ships Mike and Eleven? Ok then." Jacob said, sinking down further into the beanbag.
"They're cute, but Byler is OTP, Midget." Wisteria laughed, ruffling his hair lightly.
He batted her hand away, smiling at her.
"So, who's your favourite characters?" Rachel said, putting her hands under her chin.
"I really like Steve." Wisteria said.
"He was a total douche! Jancy all the way, Wisp!" Amy shouted, jumping up.
"If it wasn't for Steve, Jonathan would have died." Wisteria pointed out.
"Plus he wasn't that bad in the end."
"I agree with Wisp, he was a douche at the start, but then he saved Jonathan and Nancy, I liked him at the end." Rachel said.
Amy sighed, shaking her head at Rachel and Wisteria.
"Come on Angel, it's just a character." Rachel said playfully.
Amy rolled her eyes, but smiled at her. Rachel smiled back.
"I loved Joyce." Jacob said from the corner.
"She was one of my favourite characters, I loved her so much." Wisteria sighed wistfully.
"Mike was the cutest bean ever, I loved him." Amy said.
"Yes, he was." Wisteria said determinedly.
"I don't know, I preferred Will, even though he was barely in it." Rachel said.
"Oh, they were all so cute! I loved them all!" Wisteria shouted.
"Ok." Jacob said, laughing.
He glanced at the clock, and his eyes went big.
"Shit, guys, it's past eleven." he realised.
"Oh shit." Rachel said, rushing to get her things.
Wisteria ran all over the place and Jacob did too, they were all trying to get their stuff together. In a couple of seconds, they were all ready to go.
"Jesus, you want to get out!" Amy said, laughing.
"It's not funny Angel, I should have been home hours ago." Rachel worried.
"I hope my mom and brother are working, if they aren't, I'm in deep shit!" she sighed, running her fingers through her hair.
"It's ok, you'll be fine." Wisteria reassured her.
Rachel gave her a small smile, but she still looked worried. Amy saw, and understood.
"Right, I think you should all leave." she said, bustling them out the door.
They all walked out her front door, and turned round to say goodbye.
"Bye! See you tomorrow!" Amy yelled, smiling.
Rachel, Wisteria and Jacob walked home together, discussing Stranger Things in immense detail. Jacob was on team Mileven, but Rachel and Wisteria were on team Byler. They all fell about laughing, but Jacob had to leave to get home.
"Bye, I'll see you tomorrow." he yelled, wriggling around slightly.
"Are you okay?" Rachel asked him worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm fine. See you later guys!" he yelled, before walking into his house.
That just left Rachel and Wisteria to walk home together. They talked about Byler, and lots of other things. Before they knew it, it was time for Wisteria to leave.
"Bye, see you later!" Wisteria shouted, walking up her driveway.
She stopped midway, and turned around to face Rachel.
"Rachel?" she said.
"Yeah?" Rachel replied.
"Never mind, I'll tell you tomorrow." Wisteria said.
"Oh..ok. Bye!" Rachel waved, turning to walk home.
Wisteria waved back, then hit herself on the head in frustration. Why couldn't she just tell Rachel how she felt about her? She sighed, then went upstairs to her bedroom.
Meanwhile, Rachel continued walking home by herself, worrying about what would happen when she got home. She thought she heard a rustling sound, and turned around slowly. There was no one there, so she turned back around and continued walking. Something was standing in front of her, and she squinted her eyes. She couldn't see it, so she shone her torch on it. She saw it, and her eyes went wide. She dropped the torch, shaking, and ran all the way to her house, locking the door behind her.
"Mom, Ben? Mom?!"
There was no answer, so she glanced out the window. She could see the figure approaching, so she quickly ran outside, into the shed, and locked the door behind her. She picked up a gun and put some bullets in, her hands shaking. She aimed the gun at the door, trembling. The creature rose from behind her and she turned to face it, fear in her eyes.
"Please, please." she whispered.
All of a sudden there was a blinding flash of light, it streamed from all the windows in the shed. When it cleared, there was no one in the shed, and it was like no one had ever been there at all.
