Chapter 4

“I don’t want you to expect much. My place’s just simple.” He informed me while we walked to his apartment.

“Yeah.” I replied and nod at the same time. There were only a few people around. It’s breezy out here and the sky is getting dark and gray clouds are seen.

“I think its gonna rain.” I muttered unexpectedly.

“I think so too.” He shortly replied. Then everything became awkward.

I then noticed rain droplets started to fall. I covered my head with my hands as the rain start to grow stronger. We both run towards a store which gave us shade for a short period of time. While running, I accidentally slipped that made a -THUD- sound which made Lee turned to me.

Water was soaking my clothes. Lee immediately ran to me. His clothes were also soaked wet. I patted my butt because my fall was a bit painful. Well, it is sh!tty painful. I think my butt is swelling.

Lee Pace was standing in front of me while I sat at the road. He chuckled for a while and finally, offered me his hand.

“You’re a gentleman. Aren’t you?” I sarcastically said and smiled.

“Oh I already know.” He replied with a smirk as I walked with him. The rain didn’t bother us anymore. We’re already soaked.

“Mind if I offer you a dare?” He asked and looked at me.

“Yeah. What is it?” I bravely said and we both stopped walking.

“If I win, …. hmm…. You should do what I ask you to do and if you win…”

“If I win, I should also ask you to do something.” I continued. I stared at him. Water is dripping from his fair and his clothes are soaked making his firm chest noticeable and his broad shoulder distractible.

KILL THIS FVCKING HANDSOME MAN! HE SHOULD BE PERSECUTED FOR BEING SO PERFECT!

“Okay… So I challenge you to…. race to my place!” He then, started running while I was still standing at the same spot where we just talked.

“It’s unfair! I don’t even know your place!” I shouted and he was getting farther and farther. I don’t have any options left but to outrun him. Not to brag but I was a runner when I was grade school. Huehuehue

“You’re fast huh?” He said as started to catch up to him.

“Maybe or you’re just slow.” I smirked. I was beside him now, still running though.

He just chuckled as a reply. I smiled how complex our situation is. Lee and I running and both soaking wet, talking to each other, going to his place. He doesn’t even know my name!

“I’ll still win.” He cockily said.

“Really?” I replied in a not-gonna-happen-dude-tone..

“Yeah. Here’s why…” He stopped and gently grabbed my arm and………………………………………………………………………………………………….slowly touched his lips to my right cheek.
