I fluttered my eyes open and yawned. I looked at my alarm clock next to me. 7:50?!? I'm going to be late. I jumped out of bed but tripped over something hard. I got back up and looked at what I tripped on. Steven?!? I lightly kicked him to wake him up.

"Huh? What?" He yawned. "Get up! We're going to be late!" He jumped up and packed his belongings in his backpacks. As he was doing that, I quickly brushed my hair & but it into a pony tail. I gathered my clothes and went to my restroom to change.

I finished changing and went back to my room. I saw Steven sitting on my bed. I put on my backpack and grabbed my board. "C'mon lets go." I said bye to my mom & quickly ran out with him following behind.

We ran as fast as we can. Finally we arrived to school, we barely made it.
First period, which was math, was so slow. I was so tired I actually fell asleep in class. "Summer! Wake up." I quickly sat up straight rubbing my heard. Laughter filled the room.

*3 Hours Later*

It was finally lunch time. I grabbed my lunch and sat next to him. We were talking but Brittany interrupted us.

"Get away from him." Her annoying voice shouted. "Why should I?" I yelled. "Because he doesn't want you to be around him." I rolled my eyes. "Don't you think he suffers enough pain being around you?"

She stood quiet glaring into my soul. She walked past me and whispered in my ear, "I'll get you back." I laughed at her trying to be scary.

"Yeah like I'm scared of you!" I shouted across the cafeteria. I continued eating my lunch and talking to Steven. "Why are you even with her?" I asked. "Because I have to be."

"Why?"

"Because my parents and her parents are really close friends. And they want us to date so that when Brittany and I "have kids together" when were older, our family will be even closer."

Honestly, I feel terribly sorry for him. She's literally a human Barbie, no joke.

"Don't you want to break up with her?"

"Yeah but like I said, I have to be with her."

"I know I don't control you but let me you something. You can't be with a girl you don't love just because your parents force you to. If you really don't want to be with her talk to your parents about it. Stick up for yourself and your love life."

He smiled and hugged me. "Thanks. You know what? I'm fine with her. I'm going to dump her ass right now!" He proudly stood up and walked outside to where Brittany was.

10 minutes later the bell rang. I went to my next class and sat on my assigned seat. I notice Steven wasn't back, I hope he's alright.

The next two periods were over and so was school. I walked to where I usually sit with Steven. I sat down and opened my backpack to take my phone out. I plugged in my earphone and put music on. Right before I put it inside my ear, I heard a groaning sound. As if it was coming from a person.

I followed the unusual sound, which led to behind the school and saw the most horrible thing ever.
