A New Beginning

It had only been a few days since Alex had been arrested and I could already feel the difference in our world. There was no more AD hanging over us. It was finally over. I couldn't be any happier than I am right now with Emily, Lily and Grace. Hanna and Caleb were now planning a honeymoon while Aria and Ezra were on their honeymoon in France. I still don't understand why they didn't go to Paris. Spencer had thrown herself into working at her moms law firm, we knew she was just trying ton distract herself from everything that happened but eventually she would crack, it was a lot to go through and come out unharmed at least physically. Everyone for once was happy.

I watched Emily try feed the twins who were really having none of it. I couldn't help but smile as I watched them shake their heads and spit out the mushed up food Emily was spooning into their mouths. I knew eventually I would be called over to help but for now I would just enjoy watching my three favourite people in the world together safe. And just like that I was being summoned.

"Ali can you try feed Grace some of this please?"

"Of course."

It didn't make a difference who was feeding her she wasn't going to eat it. Out of both of the twins she was the most fussiest especially about food. Emily handed me the bowl of what looked like mushed leaves.

I got a small spoonful and lifted it to Grace who immediately moved her face to the side.

"Em it's no use." I put the bowl down in front of Grace who immediately flung her hand in the bowl tipping it over and the mush was now covering Emily's face and hair.

"I'll make them something new." Emily stood up.

"No you sit. I'll make something." I gave her a gentle kiss and she sat back down.

I went in to the kitchen and began mashing some bananas up into bowls for  the twins. At least I knew they would both eat this.

"Ali?"

I turned to see Emily with Lily and Grace in each arm standing at the entrance of the kitchen.

"You know my mom has the girls tonight." Emily smiled and I knew exactly what she was thinking.

"So a night in together it is." I smiled back at her. "Lets go feed these little angels." I picked up both of the bowls and Emily led the way back to the living room where the twins highchairs were.
