Draco's POV:

I finally kissed Alison. I had been trying to work up the courage for weeks. And I mean WEEKS. I don't usually waltz up to somebody and want to be friends. I mean, Alison's great. She's such a cool girl. Pansy is beyond furious but I could care less about her. Crabbe and Goyle were completley disgusted with me but it didn't really matter. One glare and a quick punch to the left eye and they were silent.

Of course I was afraid what my father would say. Dating a Slytherin/ ex-Gryffindor? I was going to get in so much trouble. But then again, Alison was switched for a reason. Maybe it's all part of the Dark Lord's plan.

Which reminds me. I can never tell Ali about my involvment with You-Know-Who. She (and the rest of this school) would never talk to me again. Especially when I kill Dumbledore. It's not like I wanted to! If I don't kill him, then Voldemort would kill me. Sometimes I wonder if I even have the guts to do it.

But none of that mattered as I kissed Alison. I ran my hands through her ombre hair. It smelled like cotton and the spring. Her lips were so soft and they tasted like bubblegum. We fell back onto my bed and just laid there, her breathing into me. We fit perfectly together.

It was almost like we were suppose to be there in that one moment.

Which was then ruined by a huge sharp pain on my forearm. "Shit" I said. Alison sat up. "What's wrong?" she asked. I had forgotten all about the vanishing cabinet for the last 2 weeks and Voldemort was probably furious. As if he could here me, my left arm started to burn. I got up quickly. "I have to go." I said. I really didn't want to leave Alison, but I had to. I rushed out of the dorms, pushing third years away from me as I may my way straight to the Room of Requirement.

Anither shot of pain engulfed my arm. I tried not to scream in pain, and just get to the Room of Requirement. I dove into the wall and screamed. A raspy, whispery voice filled my head. "Draco, you know what your task is. Finish it quickly, or else I will have to find a way to make you speed your work up." I was instantly worried. The last time Voldremort needed someone to 'hurry it up', the guys family was thrown into a pit of poisonous spiders while being blasted with the Crucio curse for two weeks. "Ok, Ok" I whishpered. I already knew that Voldemort could here me.

I worked on the vanishing cabinet for the entire night, getting no progress, and no sleep. I decided to skip classes and just head back to the dorm. When I got there, I flopped down on my bed, and tried to escape from all of the nightmares in my head.
