Celebration - Part 2

12 years later

The scared little girl has grown into a beautiful strong woman. She's 18 now and couldn't be happier. She has a Dad that loves her and would do anything for her and she has a Nana that would do the same. She's sitting in the living room watching a little bit of reality TV and thinking about how much her life has changed. She's safe and doesn't have to worry about anything ever again. She has a family. She doesn't have many friends because her dad had her home schooled, but she doesn't care, she has her best friend Louis Tomlinson and that's all she needs. She was lucky enough to meet him because her uncle Simon has his own music label like her dad and Louis is in a band with three other guys that are signed to his label and they had parties a lot, but she's only met Louis none of the other guys. Her and Louis immediately became the best of friends even tho he's five years older then her. She supports him and his bands music and is a big fan and he supports everything she does, even if she hasn't decided what it is she wants to do yet. She hasn't seen him in a long time because he's been on tour, she really misses him. 

Her thoughts get interrupted by two small feminine hands covering over her eyes. "Guess what today is!" She recognizes her voice, it's her Nana. "Jesus Nana you scared me!" She says turning around in the couch to look towards her. Her Nana laughs a little. "I'm sorry my love, you know how happy I get on this day." Haley can't stop the smile from growing on her face. She stands up and walks around the couch to give her a hug. "Yes of course, I could never forget, today 12 years ago was the day I became apart of this family, the best day of my life." They embrace each other holding tightly. "Come on now don't forget about me." A mans voice says from the other end of the room. "DAD!" She yells and runs to him giving him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. "You came home early from your business trip?" Haley looks at him with big eyes. She may be 18 and legally an adult, but she will never stop looking up to this man, the man who saved her life from destruction. "Of course I did, I would never miss today, I never have and I'm not gonna start now." 

Haley followed her Dad and Nana into the dinning room. "Please tell me we aren't having another huge party this year, we have so many parties, I don't think I can stand another one." Zayn and his mum glanced at each other and a flash of worry flushed through Zayn. His mum noticed and rested her hand on his arm. "We actually are going to let you do something a little different this year, it's still a party, just not here at the house." Haley stood there a little shocked, her dad is letting her go do something on her own with no type of protection or supervision? N way that doesn't sound like her dad, what's the catch? "You know I wouldn't let you go alone, so, Haley, I know you don't like them but, You're two older cousins are going to take you, they're part of the family and I trust that they won't let anything happen to you." Haley internally groaned, saying she didn't like them was an understatement, she never got along with them, they would always make fun of her when they were younger and make her feel like an outcast because she was adopted. Tess is 21 and Debbie is 23. "I appreciate you trying to give me a little freedom and let me leave, but if it's with them, I'd rather just stay at home Dad sorry." She's about to walk away but her Dad speaks so she stops and turns back around. 

"I don't think you're gonna wanna miss this party sweetheart." She lifts her eyebrow at her Dad. "What's so special about this one?" Her dad pulls out a piece of paper from his back pocket and unfolds it, handing it to her. Her eyes went wide. "You're letting me go to One Directions new book release party?" He shakes his head yes and she gives him another hug. "But Dad how did you get me into this, it's pretty exclusive." He laughs a little to himself. "Sweetheart, do you not remember who your dad is and who your uncle is?" "Yes of course, how dumb of me." She says joking around. She can't help but feel extremely excited, she gets to see her best friend again after months and months him touring. "Does Louis know that I'm coming?" She asks her dad and he shakes his head no."Good I wanna keep it that way" She smirks to herself. "You're cousins are already on their way but the party doesn't start for another few hours so don't worry you have plenty of time to get ready." She laughs a little as she's walking away. "You say that like I'm just like every other teenage girl, you know me better then that." She yells from the hall. She can hear them laughing as she walks up the stairs and goes into her bedroom. Well since I still have a few hours might as well take a nap, the more time I spend napping the less time I have to spend time with my she-devil cousins. She lays down and quickly falls asleep.
