The Treaty

Fighting Again

There was a full moon tonight and the werewolf and vampire packs were fighting once again. Lumine was Alpha of his pack and Sylvia was the leader of her coven. The packs can not risk their leaders getting hurt so they don't let their leaders fight. So as the pack and coven fight. Sylvia and Lumine stare at each other. He looked at me and said "When are our species going to stop fighting and make a treaty."

"You know that we can't because our species and families have been rivals for hundreds of generations" I said with a sad expression.

"Well we wouldn't have to fight if your coven would stop hunting on our land" Lumine snapped back.

"I realise that but we've killed almost every animal on our land and we can't go out in the day and at night there are enough humans to feed on but we can't risk being caught."

"Ya but that doesn't mean you can hunt on my land" Lumine said as he got really angry.

"Ok I understand that but how are we supposed to feed if we have no animals on our land?" I said as I started getting worried.

"Well Sylvia this is why we need a treaty so we can fix things like this. We can't keep risking the lives of your coven and my pack it's getting to dangerous." Lumine said as he stared at the moon and his black hair blew in the wind.

"You were right Lumine we need to start making a treaty but how?"

"We should start meeting every day to start making the treaty, what do u think Sylvia?" He said more calmly than he had been before.

" Sylvia you have the most beautiful eyes." As I almost blushed from him saying that because no human or werewolf can even make eye contact with me.

"Lumine you know my eyes change depending on my mood." I sensed that my eye color was starting to change.

"Well they're changing purple now, what does that mean?" Lumine said as he he moved some hair out of my face.

"It means that I'm happy" I was thinking what he said was really sweet but my eyes aren't like other vampires eyes no matter what my mood is both my eyes have a little black dot. My parents told me that once I find my true love that dot will go away and I will be able to experience true happiness and love. Because my family has always been the leader of this coven no matter what. There must be hundreds and thousands of vampires in this coven. My family has always run this coven because we are the strongest vampires in history.

"Sylvia what wrong your eyes turned blue and why do you always have a black dot even if your mood changes?" He said very curiously.

"Well the black dot doesn't go away until I find my true love and kiss him and then marry him. Hundreds of vampires have offered for them to be my husband but none of them are even a tenth as strong as I am. If my eyes turn blue I'm just upset."

"Well you'll find him one day, who wouldn't want to marry you?"

We both noticed that the fighting was going to get really out of our hands if we didn't stop them soon.

"Lumine change now and we'll send the calls for them to stop fighting before something happens that we can't get under our control!!" We always stay at the top of the hill to make sure the fight doesn't get to out of our control, we also stay at the stop of the hill so our signals echo so they can hear it. Lumine changed and we got ready. For us to send the signal Lumine howls and I screech. The screech I make only vampires can hear it. I am the leader of the coven and the only one who can do this because my family has run this coven for millions of generations. The vampires started hearing the ear piercing screech they all stopped fighting to coven their ears and they knelt down and awaited my comamd. When Lumine howled the werewolf s did the same but they didn't cover their ears.
