Even if you’re a million miles away,

it’s like you’re here with me now.

I can feel your presence near me.

I hear your voice singing in my head.

The words you say,

they never seem to leave my head.

When you aren’t here,

I’m just a face in the crowd.

So don’t leave, please stay

Don’t leave me behind.

Even though you know,

You’re way too good for me.

We both know you were born with wings.

Don’t use them to just leave.

Because when you are near,

I feel my heart in my chest.

It beats like it never did.

That Saturday has made my year.

But the weekend quickly slipped away,

So do your best to stay with me.

We know the evening will arrive,

We’ve got to keep this love strong.

Why let it die?

Haven’t we worked for it hard enough?

Didn’t we spend all days and nights

only to make it all seem right?

Why throw away the effort that we put

Into everything that we have

Into the trust that we built up

And we both know it is true.

Love is forever,

But it doesn’t choose.

It comes then when we least expect it.

But sweetheart come over to me.

Hug me and don’t let go.

So please stay.

Lay me down,

Tell me everything will be alright

Hold my hand

And promise you will try to stay,

as long as you can.

But maybe we’re meant to,

Lose the ones we love,

But I don’t care,

‘Cause I’ll fight for you till then

Hold my hand tight,

Smile for me.

That is all I need.

I’d let everything go,

For you my love.
