Water is always clear and peaceful. But add a bit of wind or an object falling into its depths and the peacefulness is disrupted. However a small object and light wind can only cause little ripples, but a huge object can change the peaceful water into huge waves of destruction.

That is exactly what is happening inside of me at this moment as I look at the person who raised me. My face has lost all the blood giving my pale complexion no colour. The person I trusted the most in this world betrayed me in the worst way. Blood returns to my shocked face as I progress the new information I was just given. Never in a million years did I expect this. Growing up among my fellow assassin family I was told that my parents died in a car crash, but apparently that isn't the whole story. This scum in front of me ordered the death of my family. My heart breaks a little as I realise that I wasn't the only child. I had a baby brother only a few months old.

My whole life I thought the scar on my side was caused by the unfortunate car accident. For a long time I resented that I was the only survivor. Now I realise I was just lucky to survive. If I wasn't thrown from the car that day I would've died amongst my family.

Pure anger ignites inside of my being as I glare at the most disgusting person in my world right now. I can't exactly call him a murderer seeing as I am ranked the highest assassin in the world just a few days ago. Being an assassin doesn't mean you have to kill everyone. Since my first mission I refused to assassinate innocent people. My whole life so far I have only killed the scum in this world even though I can be classified as one too.

My scarred hands clench in fists as I focus on the person in front of me. I really want to kill this traitor in front of me, but then I would have my whole assassin family after me. My mind pauses and considers what I am about to say knowing the full consequences. "Listen closely..." My icy cold glare holds the person's gaze and I smirk as I see a little fear. "I am leaving and you are not going to stop me or send someone after me because of that stupid pact." The person narrows their eyes. "You are also going to burn my documents." The person hesitates, but walks to the file cabinet. Skimming through the names, soon after mine is pulled out. Placing my match box in the person's hand I cross my arms waiting. My blue orbs focus on the documents as bright flames devour the pages and my identity. "Good. Now here is a fair warning. Don't get to comfortable. I will be coming for your blood." I watch in satisfaction as the person visibly gulps.

Winking at my next target I turn and disappear.
