Skylar's POV
This week was spirit week at school for homecoming. It, there were only two spirit weeks every year. During, and only during spirit week, we could wear something according to the day instead of our uniform, which is why most people (like 99% of the school) participated in spirit week.
The first day was nerd day. I found this to be quite a bit offensive, but I would rather have a day for this than wear a uniform, so I wore a red skater skirt and a white crop top with black suspenders and black knee-high socks with my red converse and my nerd frames that were actual glasses (I wore contacts). It was actually pretty comfortable.
The second day was jock day, which I also kinda found a little offensive, but still went with it and wore a letterman's jacket with some denim shorts with a grey blouse and my black wedged sneakers. Literally everyone was staring at me.
"She looks hot," some whispered
I ignored everyone and kept walking confidently down the hall to my class.
(A/N: The girl in the picture is just a model. That is not necessarily how Skylar looks like)
The third day was black and white day, and so I wore a random white top and black shorts with some fishnet tights and some vans. That day I really just didn't care. My hair was messy, and I just felt like I just didn't want to be here. I actually decided to put on some makeup for once and made it really clear that I was hating everything by wearing bold eyeliner.
