Jungkook tucked the white dress shirt neatly into his jeans before gently slipping his black blazer on, lightly brushing off the dust with his hands. He eyed himself in the mirror from head to toe, new shiny pointed boots, a black tie hung loosely around his neck and his hair slicked back to give him a more grown up persona. His face screwed up distastefully as he was far out from his comfort zone, but he knew he had no other choice unless he was willing to scrub cars for the rest of his life and fall even deeper into debt.

It had been 1 year since Jungkook moved out of his parents house, in hopes to prove that he is mature enough to live on his own, except it didn't work out well as he was finding it incredibly difficult to pay rent. Jungkook had been through many jobs that he just finds impossible to keep - due to his lack of interest and from turning up late many times from sleeping in. At the time he was working at a car wash, cleaning cars manually for hours. He was sick of his job; not just because of how boring he found it, but it just didn't pay well.
After confessing his troubles to his best friend Taehyung over coffee, Taehyung showed him an ad on the newspaper under "Careers", and Jungkook's eyes lit up with excitement as he read what was in front of him in large bold letters:

"HELP WANTED
Butler needed for the Park's mansion.
£150.ooo per year, accomodation included."

Jungkook had heard of Mr Park before but only under a bad light. He was one of the richest people in Seoul and was not at all hesitant to show off his money to the world. Jungkook was aware the man has a son but he wasn't aware of the boys age, he hoped the boy wasn't young; as he wasn't signing up to be a babysitter.

After getting through the interview with Mr Park without throwing up, Jungkook felt somewhat confident about how he approached it and the way he presented himself; completing job interviews had become a second nature to him. To say that Mr Park was intimidating was an understatement, although he gave Jungkook many compliments and smiles, there was a dark undertone that Jungkook couldn't seem to ignore. He wasn't interviewed in the Park's mansion like he had expected, his interview took place in a large and posh looking building with engraved architecture around the outer walls and stone statues decorating each painfully similar corridor that was dull in colour and light. Mr Park had informed him that he was the youngest out of many that had been interviewed and that did lower his confidence a little as it was more likely he will choose the person who is more mature and experienced, so he was ecstatic when he got the call that he was hired.

Jungkook got on his bike and made the long trek towards the mansion to start his first day on the job, finding the ability to ride a bike in a tight fitting suit incredibly difficult, but sadly that was his only form of transportation. He carried his heavy backpack holding the essentials such as clothing, toiletries and other necessities that he couldn't live without, since he would be living in the mansion. He rode his bike up to the posh gates, that closed off entry to the extravagant mansion from behind, already feeling nervousness bubbling up inside his stomach from its overpowering structure. He saw the intercom at the side of the gate, clearing his throat before hesitantly pressing the button.
"Name?" A a deep and grumpy tone buzzed through the speakers, Jungkook was quick to put on the most polite voice he could muster;
''Jeon Jungkook, I'm the new butler."
There was a long pause before the intercom vibrated loudly and the heavy gates slowly opened for him, he took that as a sign to come in which he did graciously, lightly pushing the bike beside him as he walked slowly, trying to take in his surroundings while staring up at the big mansion in unsuccessfully concealed awe. He left the bike leaning against the fountain in the centre of the brick path leading up to the double doors. He walked up the marble steps before ringing the doorbell that was surprisingly loud to his sensitive ears. The doors opened revealing a rather small man wearing a similar suit to himself, platinum blonde hair and an annoyed expression painting his strongly defined features.
