Wednesday After School
I've been trying to ignore Jack since what happened but wherever I turned, he was there. I can't get rid of him!
Well, you do live in his house, the voice inside my head spoke.
Temporarily. I smirked at myself. All I have to do is ignore him for the period of my stay and I'll be fine.
It's gonna be a long four months.
Not noticing where I was going I bumped into someone and internally panicked because the possibility that this person is Jack is high.
"Woah, are you okay there sweetie? You ran into the house like a bull." Oh thank god, it was Mindy, jacks mom.
I sighed a heavy breath of relief. "I'm fine, Mindy. Thank you for the concern. Sorry for running into you." I smiled genuinely at her. Ever since I was staying here, I've become close to her. Seeing as I was constantly at 'home' and only ever left the house for school and to go to Lydia's place.
Though, I need a new SD card to save the pictures I took.
"It's okay, hun. Well, I'll be going now." Mindy spoke as she hiked her purse up her shoulder.
"Where to?" Please don't go.
"I'm going to a friends house for her birthday and she lives a few hours away so I'll be back in the morning." She smiled kindly at me.
"Oh, we'll have fun. Be safe."
Please take me with you.
"Oh I will." She laughed to herself, "Jack should be here any minute now. There's money on the counter for pizza or take out. Have fun." She gave me a hug then left closing the door behind her.
No come back! I huffed when nothing happens.
Climbing up the stairs, I decided to go on a jog to get rid of my thoughts.
I changed into a black Nike sports bra, black running shorts and my Nike sneakers mom had gotten me for Christmas last year.
I quickly tied my hair up and stretched a bit before running down the stairs into the kitchen for a bottle of water.
I noticed there was a pen and post it notes on the island so I left Jack a quick memo telling him I'll be out for a few hours.
I locked the door with my spare key Mindy had given me, and began jogging down the street. I haven't really gotten to see around this neighborhood much so while I'm jogging I'll look around for areas not to go and areas where I should check out.

Finally, after two hours of running, I made it back to the house.
That was an amazing jog. It really helped with everything that's been going on. I've looked around and noticed there was a park not too far away from here. There was also a lake behind the trail of trees. It's pretty cool.
I walked up to the door and turned the knob and opened it; entering I took off my shoes and held them in one hand. Going into the kitchen, I opened the fridge and pulled out another water bottle. The one I had I drank all of it and threw it away. (Into the trash of course.)
"Who's the sweaty hottie in your kitchen, Henderson?" A voice said making me jump. I faced the voice to see Chase. "Oh, never mind. It's Audrey." He added. I rolled my eyes.
