Wake UP Holly!

She groaned groggily, annoyed by the persistent mental nudge.

4:45 AM – the neon numbers were blinding in the darkened room.

*I can't do this today* she thought, turning her back to the clock. She'd already hit snooze twice.

The late nights and early mornings were starting to take a toll - not only did her body frequently ache for respite but her soul's well-being had begun to take a hit as well. After a few seconds of intense mental debate, she mustered all of her strength and sat up in bed, brushing a few stray locs out of her eyes. A deep sigh reverberated through the silence. With a quiet prayer to the Mother, Holly stepped halfheartedly out of bed and began to prepare for work.
